ikr.... there are a few things that can get me to tear up about this band. 1 is obviously brad's death....the other two are when Lou' dog got stolen by the dudes in the black truck.... and home footage of Brad's son as a toddler saying his ABC's. my favorite song tho is Summertime and the story behind when/how it was recorded. Nowell's best quality was for sure singing...he could express himself the best that way.
this is the last one? that’s erie. sounds amazing too. i hate that i’m an 2002 kid. wish I could’ve grown up in the 80’s and lived through sublimes career so i could’ve at least lived the journey with them and maybe gone to some concerts. i know they weren’t all that known back then but they would’ve still been my favorite band just as they are today. gone too soon man. i’m trying to get my band and i to carry on the legacy but i’m struggling on matching bradley’s voice. it’s just so unique and amazing. rest in peace man, i’ve never met you but i miss you.
i made a bootleg of a ton of rare sublime tracks, called "killin it" , including all their leary sessions and what not, and felt this deserved to be the last song
@@Ollieisskaxxx this show was played the night of May 24 96 at the Phoenix Theater in Petaluma, Brad died on the morning of may 25 a little under 2hrs away in a San Fran hotel room. Technically the whole show was recorded so this was only part of his last recording.
i have found more than a handful of accounts where he comes WAY to close to even call it a prediction.... more like an actual vision of the future....almost like everything was planned.
Most of the phoenix theater tracks are crap, this is some great quality right here and my favorite jam from that night. Love the lincoln highway riff, so smooth. Thanks for posting
I wish we had the complete board recording. I don't listen to sublime all that much nowadays, but their music has influenced me in so many ways. As a matter of fact, I believe I learned to drum on the guitar because of Bradley. If anyone wants, check out my cover of don't push on my RU-vid channel.
I always wondered if they had the sound check jam with this quality, if the last show was recorded with the same quality. I’ve heard the version out there from a fan but how cool would it be to have Sublime’s last show ever. Oh well...RIP Bradley
@@OrangeYTTit’s definitely out there. Michael happoldt recorded so much shit and has so much tapes in the vault that have not been released and might never
