I've been playing bass for well over 20 years because of Eric Wilson. Eric's basslines made the instrument cool to me. I still love it the same way I did in 1996.

Same brother. I was gifted a bass in the fourth grade by my grandpa and I always thought it was cool but when I heard Sublime I knew how cool the instrument could be in such versatile ways. 17 years later I’m still playing bass and always warm up with a good ol sublime song

Bro, I’m so fucking pissed. I’m on my dads account rn, I grew up listening to y’all because your my dads favorite band. It hurts so much that you guys are under-rated. My dad passed away on January 31st, so when we went to your concert (Here in Phoenix Arizona) on November 14th and I was so happy, there were hundreds of people there! Random af but check this out. I just moved from Long Beach to Florida but right before we left we rented some apartments right by seal beach jetty. I’d surf it all the time, waters super warm there (probably nasty but whatever) anyway, brads son, Jacob lived in the same apartments!

I got to see these guys 5 years ago and it's just not the same without Brad and Bud. Eric blew my mind though. So slick with the finger strumming. I thought David freese was a weird choice at the time to replace Bud and it showed at that concert. The drums sounded flat and didn't really lock in with Eric that well. I think Jay lane or brain would have been a better choice.
