Been listening to ALL sublime since I even began to have memories. And you know when they announced Rome was going to be the new lead singer, I wasn't excited, but i gave it a chance and fell in love with it the same way i did with old sublime. Words can't explain how emotional it is to me that they're coming to an end. I'll just have to catch him with Duddy on tour sometime soon hopefully. Sublime always gonna hold a special place in my bones

I think Sublime with Rome proved a lot of naysayers wrong with some of their amazing tracks and keeping sublime a loving community. There was a lot of fire towards Rome but damn he has me singing and grooving with those albums. TY for your time and hopefully see some more content soon brotha. Love is a magical thing, lots of emotions and we dig it up or bury it.

This “Rome without Sublime Farewell Tour” is going to sell tens of tickets. Continuing on when Eric n Bud told him his time was up is so trashy. At least you can go back to playing Bruno Mars n Katie Perry covers for youtube

Well my local show is sold out. According to all the interviews, Rome doesn’t want to keep going - he wants to move onto his solo career and Rome & Duddy shows - but he is contractually obligated by the label that produced their latest album to finish the tour. What is trashy is Eric bailing on him right after they put out their best album in years, when the entire concept of Sublime with Rome was his idea, so he could play live again. I can’t wait for Rome to be unshackled from having to play OG Sublime songs, his songs are good enough to stand on their own.

@@MrZiggens3 haha, you make a lot of assumptions there. I love OG Sublime and am old enough that I saw Bradley perform live before he died. It’s apples to oranges. I would compare Rome’s style to other modern reggae bands like Slightly Stoopid, Pepper, Iration, Tropic Vibration, etc and his music fits in perfectly in that type of playlist. I enjoy it all. I hope the new Sublime lineup kicks ass - will go see them soon, and I also hope Rome takes off as a solo artist without doing Sublime covers.

i mean, no one forced you to listen to them if you don't like them. SWR is good and have a ton of great original songs. this sounds nothing at all like any blink 182 songs.
