I wanted to extend my heartfelt thanks to Dr. Wong and the entire team for the exceptional care I received during my recent eye surgery. Dr. Wong took on an extra challenge that other surgeons were unwilling to face, demonstrating remarkable skill and dedication throughout the procedure. This willingness to take on challenges sets Dr. Wong apart and makes him an extraordinary ophthalmologist. Watching the video allowed me to appreciate the precision and expertise involved in the surgery. Dr. Wong treated me as if I were a family member, applying the same solution he would use for his own loved ones. He was willing to put in tremendous effort even at a financial loss. This level of care and commitment is truly commendable and deeply appreciated. The clarity and educational value of the video are outstanding, and I believe it will be a valuable resource for both patients and professionals. One month after the surgery, my vision has returned to the same level before the dislocation, indicating the precise and accurate repositioning of the lens. It's a great piece not only from a surgical expertise perspective but also reaches a philosophical level, enlightening us about facing life's challenges. Thank you again, Dr. Wong, for your unwavering dedication and for sharing this informative video with the public.
And sometimes doing the right thing is difficult for us. But you took the path that your heart led you to, and in the long run that's what it's all about (or should be) - helping people, giving. I commend you and admire you.
Thank you for doing this. I too had a difficult time with my IOL implants and I got recommended to keep it monofocal, but I have found a doctor who was willing to give me lots of his time, nerves & other resources and he did operate on both on my eyes. I believe that money wise, he was at best at 0, maybe even at loss, but.. he saved my vision, 34y/male, glasses free! Thank you MUDr. Pavel Stodůlka, Ph.D.! And thank you Doctor Wong!

Heroic surgery Shannon. Well executed. I agree titrating tension on these Prolene sutures is not really possible. Please update us over time with follow up on this interesting case. I suspect this is a dead bag and further issues will evolve.
1. You are Da man! 2. You forgot (?) to mention this was a toric IOL, an extra layer of complexity requiring more attention to detail. 3. It is for this reason I send patients to your YT site for a full comprehensive discussion re: IOLs and events. 4. In retrospect would the CTR initially been a better choice? 5. I assume this was a GET and not local? May you continue to educate us all, neophyte or master
