@@sin3231 also the diesel subs can only submerge for a few days at very low speeds using battery power. Nuclear subs can go indefinitely underwater at whatever speed they want. They can literally sit on the ground with no sound and ambush everything for as long as they have food.

Thats not always the case: See, if you have let's say 100 U-Boot Typ VII submarines on one side (e.g. Germany) and (e.g. USA) 10 modern submarines, which fleet is better? Germany as a country doesn't neccessarily need submarines but if they fight as they did in WWII against Great Britain for example, they don't need superb but effective submarines to cut the supply-line between the USA and GB. Also if you look what some subs were able to do in 1945, Typ XXII, it's enough for e.g. Germany's case of war.

The supply lines were attacked and rather successfully to start with untill the Brits devised tactics and technologies that meant the u boat threat was practically nullified and ended up costing Germany more in their own resources then that of the American merchant navy and British navy. Ironically the second "happy time" only existed after America joined the war and some moron of a naval chief ignored the lessons learned by the Brits. However after significant losses this was reversed, hence the Atlantic war was actually "won" twice. The u boat threat was a real thing for the UK, at the start of the war, but not later, hence why the British navy could essentially do what they wanted i.e. send convoys to Russia, defend the Mediterranean and supply the North African campaign, whilst supplying and fighting the Japanese across the planet.

After that oil spill found near Balli port .There is no official reason revealed yet Bt I think the submarine lost it way as they got disconnected, so they relese the oil from their oil tank for providing their location , later on may be the increased in pressure and lack of oxygen became the cause of this incident 😞

Even older submarines are still a nightmare to deal with. They can end merchant shipping extremely easily. They require a lot of ships and aircraft to constantly patrol large areas, they can still take out valuable capital ships, they can still use modern torpedoes or missiles with long ranges, few countries have a lot of anti-submarine ships/aircraft, having to screen with anti-submarine ships/aircraft exposes them to surface ships, the uncertainty of submarines often denies large areas, they allow attacks without necessarily knowing the source, they can be used for monitoring or special forces, etc. If a submarine stealth attacked an oil tanker of India tomorrow... now what? Search the entire Indian ocean?

Carriers especially super carriers are always within the battle group so you would have to get pass the entire battle group before getting to the super carrier, the more subs you throw at a battle group the higher chance of detection. China will never use its subs to attack a battle group unless its a last resort, their naval doctrine, is to get off the coastline of America and fire short range nuclear missiles as they are aware of the Aegis missile defense having a 50% failure rate at intercepting short range missles. The Aegis defense here in Hawaii failed its test again, it is designed to intercept short range tactical missles/nuclear missiles. The Patriots missile defense is for intercepting large icbm of that nature, but not short range missiles which would be smaller than the Patriots missile. Again Chinas naval doctrine is not to engage with the U.S navy, but rather a surprise short range nuclear attack to cause damage to key naval bases, and to provide coastline support off mainland china. While Russia naval doctrine is to use smaller ships with supersonic anti ship missiles, back by anti air coastline defense. Americas naval doctrine is open water supremacy and Air superiority. Which allows it to leave its own coastline and support land invasions, but mainly to be the strongest navy out at sea. Neither Russia no China can compete in the open ocean and rely on mainland or island weapon stations to support their navy. This doesn't meab one doctrine is better than the other. They all exist to counter each other or support where they are stronger. U.S holds Air superiority, and Open water Naval superiority, however Russia has the best Anti ship missiles which will cause damage to a battle group. China will rely on a stealth attack as it cant compete in Air Superiority and its Navy is not structured liked Russia.

I was thinking that... Like most of these fleets are designed purely for patrolling of territorial waters. There's a huge difference in capability between a diesel/electric coastal patrol submarine and a nuclear fleet submarine, let alone a ballistic missile sub.

It all depends on the mission. If it is to defend the coasts of a regional power then a diesel electric sub might do the job.
