Legend has it Kenan only painted the submarine

It's a weird, but highly structured skit, and even has a narrative...I like this one

Fun fact: Several years ago in The U.K., there was a poll taken to name a military sea vessel & the name that won was "Boaty McBoatface."

I love how they would rather sink the submarine over just ignoring the poll results. Great sketch.

We had a poll to name a bridge here in Slovakia and it ended with people voting for "The Bridge of Chuck Norris". As the bridge leads to Austria, our neighbours were not thrilled about this and the bridge was officially called "The bicycle bridge of freedom" in the end. But we are a quite stubborn nation and nobody gives a crap about the official name, so everybody calls it by its true name "The Bridge of Chuck Norris" :)

"It's what happens when you roll your fingers across the keyboard, sir!" It just kept going and made me laugh even harder 😂

I like that after the sketch the specially assigned person takes the guest by hand and takes them to dressing room or whatever.

I busted out laughing at “ass di fi jackal” 😂 I hope I can find a way to slip this into regular conversation one day lol

The writers on SNL wrote top notch skits for Woody. I laughed my head off in most of them. Especially, the slingshot ride with Keenan

I always loved the tale of "Boaty McBoatFace". Apparently, so did one of SNL's writers.

I really enjoyed this skit tonight. It was dumb, but fun dumb. Especially when Woody's wife called. That was great!

The sets have been getting better & better as time goes on. The crew deserve raises.

Brit here - I'm afraid we started it all in 2016 with *_Boaty McBoatface._* The UK's Polar Explorer Programme ran a public poll to name our new Antarctic research vessel. They wildly underestimated the British appetite for 'royally taking the piss', and serious names like the 'Sir David Attenborough' were rapidly outvoted by Boaty. Other popular names included _'It's Bloody Cold Here', 'I Like Big Boats And I Cannot Lie', 'What Iceberg?'_ and _'Boatimus Prime'._ The committee compromised by naming one of the on-board Underwater Vehicles _Boaty McBoatface_ - he even has his own wiki page!
