I would like to explain that there are two people and two different texts. I am the other person in this video and my text is red. Sane's, the creator of this, text is yellowish gold
for real. i've heard the VR version properly scales things to what they'd mostly be like in real life, and i can't wait to get a VR headset and try it out.
@@vizthexit doesn't work like you'd expect. All the controls are the same, the vr only changes the camera. Seeing the world in vr is cool, but it's not as immersive as it could be because your still jist holding a regular console controller
@@henryhere I mean, could you imagine actually having to physically swim to move around? That would be exhausting so fast, lmao. However, I guess you can think of using the controller to pilot the vehicles for immersion.
"I think you just blew up a seamoth" "nooo" "Yeah, you blew up mine" "what are you talking about?" "I did not blow up a seamoth?" "Oh I blew up a seamoth" "He in fact did blow up a seamoth" You have earned a sub my guy.
I see why they didn't make it multiplayer. Ryleys movements are irrational.. and kinda scary. I see how it looks from the seamonsters perspective now, they must be terrified
Pretty sure it’s because it’s not multiplayer that this is how it is, not the other way around. They actually did intend to make it multiplayer but eventually decided not to, I believe because of some sort of time constraints? But it’s such a detailed game designed for ONLY single player, so of course multiplayer is gonna be a mess lmaoo.
@@krissy989Let’s separate the mod as a different discussion. In the real game, itself, it’s very notorious that Subnautica POV perspective is very inaccurate. Everything is scaled down for some reason. If you actually exit into camera mode, where you can see both your character model and compare them to the sea creatures, you are tiny. For example, in pov, it looks like the Reaper Leviathan is only big enough to take a bite in half, but in reality, it’s big enough to swallow you whole. It’s twice the size of the BLUE WHALE, the pov doesn’t do it justice. Even the small fish! In pov, you’re big enough to grab it with your hands, but in model scale, those fishes are bigger than your head! Just search up subnautica size comparison and you will get it.
@@fearlesseye5896 Trust me man, I'm well aware of subnautica's wacky size issues, but this is literally *the most common bug* in the entire mod. It affects everything from peepers to leviathans.
I stole every oxygen tank once and simply jumped ship. Cue 30 minutes of them struggling and me swimming in the abyss because apparently things don't spawn a certain distance away from the main ship.
Below Zero didnt really work, so I think a story-light Multiplayer-focused Subnautica game is easily the best next step for the series. Unless they wanna go back to Natural Selection
just a little tip that you probably already figured out, having a power cell charger inside your cyclops is kinda pointless since you're using the energy of the cyclops to charge your power cells
The cyclops is one of the best vehicles I've ever seen in a videogame. But...yeah it's a glitchy little bugger. Good to know hacking the code to allow multiplayer only makes it worse XD
@@dreamedcar12345 The reaper leviathan is canonically 180 feet long. And keep in mind it’s the fourth largest thing in subnautica that’s alive. The sea dragon is just a yard short of 370 feet. The sea emperor can be twice that.
