I went through this too, don’t lose hope man. It takes quite a while to start feeling 100% normal again. I truly believe working out it the key though. I came off about 4mg, and I’ll be honest, I didn’t feel right for months. But lifting weights is what got me through it. Intense weight training was the only thing that brought me relief. Keep your mind occupied, try not to be idle.
What about night time ? Because that’s the only time it hits hard I can deal with it’s durning the day but the rls at night is what kills be I’m on day 3 now
@@MemyselfI-tt9uc try zquil or something to help with that. Be careful and YOU CAN DO THIS. It fucking sucks, but so does everything else in life if im being honest. It's just a few weeks compared to the rest of your life. Keep it up. I believe in you.
Wow same age, situation, and im in Michigan too. Want to say thank you for sharing. I’m so sick of this merry go round I want off these things but don’t have the willpower to ween down :(
Matt you look 100% better ❤💪 I hear you about the sky ✈ It's pissses me off along with all the rest of their BS. I wish I lived closer. I would come watch you & Sully. You'll figure it out I am sure. You look sooo much better today 😊
Hey bro, thanks for documenting this. I started my blind taper off of 60mg methadone right after Christmas. I know because I feel like dog crap usually lol. Also wanted to say I've learned that its much better to just let yourself feel the bad emotions rather than bandaging it. You have to develop healthy coping mechanisms rather than chemical ones. Not trying to tell you what to do, just throwing ideas out there because I'm in the same boat! I dont go to meetings anymore but I still live by the principles they taught me.
@@nicksshitbro 160mg methadone and 6 mgs of Klonopin. I’m over a year methadone free and working on tapering my Klonopin soon. It took me 4 years to taper. 💪✌️✌️❤️
Clonidine and vistiril are medicines a doctor will easily give for coming off drugs. And they both help quite a bit. Especially at night when your trying to sleep.
Hey brother I have been on subs for 3 years now and I’m so ready to get off of them I’m going to begin a taper soon so you have any recommendations for me
I'm sorry Sir but this is probably the WORST way to try and recover I can imagine. You DO need therapeutic support (therapy, counseling). The exercise is good. You CAN'T keep replacing opioids with OTHER drugs like weed, ketamine. You're going to be on a never ending treadmill of narcotics.
