Hi, thanks for the vid. As far as I understand in the GE300, a Sub-patch is simply a way to turn on/off multiple pedals within a patch, via a single footswitch to avoid 'tap-dancing'. However, am I correct in understanding that this is not the same as a 'snap-shot' in the Line 6 Helix/Pod Go products, where not only can you control what is switched on/off in each snapshot, but you can change the parameters of anything in the signal chain eg amp gain, volume, EQ, delay time/feedback, distortion pedal gain levels, different mic, different IR. Assuming my understanding is right, I'm surprised Mooer hasn't added this to the GE300. The other problem from a gigging situation, if my reading of the manual is right, is that there is no way to set the Expression pedal globally to switch from Volume to Wah in any and every patch and you'd have to program this in manually into every patch if you wanted this. Again, I wish the GE300 had this, as it's an immensely useful gigging feature. The other thing I don't understand is, although the GE300 looks terrific, you can't read the labels - it's dreadful to try & read. Such a shame, as if Mooer could get those things right it would be way more gig-friendly.

Yes, Richard. I´m surprised too. I'm a Pod and Boss user and since my GT10 days i use to use the CTL footswitches to chance parameters of multiples effects not only turn then on/ off. the only way to do something like that on GE300 is the function Merge using the expression pedal, witch is a function that exists on GT10/ 100 ... POd... as well, and its not the sme thing as changing the parameters by stepping a ctl footswitch . another thing that i was very desapointed with this unit is that it doest have hoe to use 2 amps at the same time, creating two different lines and blending then together... also a feture we have since boss gt10 and pod hd 500... And you're right... the labels are very hard to read!!! the're almost the same clor of the steel and blend with it... beautfull but.... on a stage forget it...

Im surpriced they dont have the snapshot feature for the CTRL switches since they already have the mergefunktion in there which can change between two values of several parameters but with continuos control from the expression pedal which is quite similar. Mooer should really fix this, many others have this kind of function.

That really is too bad to hear. They could do the following to make it live-friendly and put GE300 into a "Song" footswitch mode. This would be similar to Mode #3 where you have 8 CTRL switches. And all 8 capable of being either 4 stomps 4 snapshots, or 8 snapshots, or 8 stomps. Could also be extended to include the bank switches so you have 10 total CTRLs Ofcourse, each CTRL in Snapshot (or sub-patch I guess) mode could control any parameter, including changing the AMP channel. Pressing both the Bank up and down would bring you to something similar to Mode #3, in preset view. Each preset could now be a song. And you can change your stomps and/or snapshots to switch into verse, chorus, solo, fx, etc. parts of the songs. I can't imagine this taking additional DSP to get going. It's simple programming. But at this point, there hasn't been an update in over a year and doubt there would be another one. Probably getting ready for another flagship model. I am not a GE300 user. Was simply trying to see if something in this form factor could replace the Helix for me. But it seems like with no parallel processing, not enough flexibility of footswitching, it may not be worth it. Perhaps a GE350 or 400 is in the works.

Does anyone know how to copy a patch like the US Deluxe from bank 1 (the default bank) and copy it to a new bank? I cant find that process in the pdf, or online anywhere and the mooer studio program wont work on my win 11 computer. its missing a dll. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
