Personally, I like the format and content variety you and Mel put together... Lifestyle involves more than construction, and as someone who follows such channels, I can say you do it well... Your life is unique and interesting, as are the channels and families or couples I follow on other channels/lifestyles... Ambition Strikes, It's Me, Gone With The Wynns, 62 to Freedom, Rob's Coffee Shop, are just a few of many I take in regularly... Who needs Netflix, haha?! None of these, nor your channel, is a Kardashian-type show (thank goodness, even though I've never watched them, just heard of them)... I get ideas, learn, laugh, and am entertained... We use those valves in every pool here in Florida!! If you buy a bottom return for a swimming pool it should have the relief valve made into it!! That would be for a bottom drain!! Water pressure from underneath pushes up the check valve to allow water to come into the pond!! That way it doesn’t push out the shell! Now you can also run a pipe from underneath to the outside the shell! Most important part is don’t let pressure build underneath the shell!! Should be able to buy it on line!!

glad you do not let negative comments hold you back from the wonderful life you and Mel put together there in the Philippines....I too am on an adventure trying to put together information to build a life there in Northern Luzon. I have a Filipina wife who treats me very well as I also treat her...I am sure we will be able to build what we need (and hopefully what we want) so life is a pleasure. Her family is well educated (doctors, Lawyers, Village leaders). Other then the ability to speak the language I have learned much about the Philippines with individual customs for different areas/ islands, everyone (for the biggest part) has been friendly and helpful. There will always be some who try to rake advantage of foreign nationals but you learn who is who....and adjust you circle of friends around you. Waiting now here in America for the Nephew and his wife to come to America so we can get them settled in...then back to the Philippines for a couple of years or more....

My wife grandmother is 99 years old. When her husband died the family had no income which necessitated the children begging for food from family and friends.. My wife hated being poor and seeing Naney going without food sometimes made her study to pass exams and to go university and follow a teaching career..

You could use that ball valve or just a pvc check valve with direction towards your pool

I have been watching your channel since you began building the house. I think if you didn’t worry about explaining on your channel, what people are thinking or complaining about and just kept producing the normal content that you do, you’ll be much better off in a long run. Haters will be there, and that’s just the way it is. When you start explaining about things, people aren’t interested in that.
