I'm so so so happy to see you reunited with Mimic 🦜😍😍😍 You deserve it 💗💗💗 Congrats 🎉🎊 Mimic was only reseased in the US. Europe did not get a release of most of the 2nd Set Twinkle Eyed ponies. So that makes her somewhat rare worldwide as only quantities for the US market got produced. Maybe she also had a low production run in top of that. But nobody can proof that. Also her beauty and wonderful color combo (green pony!!!) and this pose make her totally popular. And those factors together create the hype around her and the high prices I believe. Not sure about the TV appearance as I never watched that😅

Thank you so much! That definitely makes a lot of sense. One of the reasons I liked her so much it's just because of the color combination. I feel like both Pony is have some form of pink or purple in their color scheme, so when you have ponies that are other colors like green or yellow or blue with no pink or purple they are more interesting to me. And she might just be harder to come by because of less of her wars made so that makes sense
