Thanks for taking time to review my battles, Dan! You were spot on with the whiscash leads. Tried to catch the move each time and it didn’t work. I’ve realized that since the matchup is so much better for them, they have no need to throw unless I try to build up to a blast burn where I would just have to burn a shield or let it go anyway. And for the first battle where I lost and I REALLY shouldn’t have, I didn’t realize they only needed one more incinerate to get to a move. Aqua tail would have taken out but I would have lost CMP to tentacruel so I wanted some more energy on Quag. Overall not my best set but I really appreciate you taking the time to go over my battles! Thanks again :)

I appreciate the call outs on bad fast move timing. I struggle with it so seeing for sure what the bad ones look like is helpful.

@dan 15.07 he came into the cresalia during an attack so it is a half turn or turn behind on fast attacks

Dan at 23:05 the Charjabug got New Mechanic he should not have been able to throw a volt switch and get the move off.. 4 turn move and 1 turn to throw the charge move so he got super lucky!

22:20 You are correct. The damage registers on one before the fast attack move time. HOWEVER. Charge attack has precedence over the damage registering. At least, that is what they intended. Unfortunately, it is inconsistent. Sometimes you get what is called "Damage Registration Error" (or previously called new mechanic) in which the FA damage registers before the charge attack. So your frustration is justified. It is inconsistent. It is supposed to be one way, but if you play to it, you can get burnt (pun intended) when the intended way just doesn't work.

Hi Dan, I’m just wondering if anyone has the same problem as me, since the community day, I have be trying to give the shadow typhlosion a second charge move so I can use it in GBL and try it out. But till today I still can’t give it a second move. Anyone has the same issue?

Dan, it’s damage registration error moves always do dmg 1 turn before it ends, except 1 turn moves

Not a fan of teams that directly lose to grasshole, too many toxic teams around OGL 😅 Love the shadow Typhlosion tho

Considering one turn bring in, it should be okay I think

The funny thing about Typhlosion now is that it wins with two shields vs any water 😁 Mudboys are an issue though.

Is Thunder Punch a community day move that needs an elite TM?
