We met up with some fans who showed us this massive cave they knew of. We have to come back to see where some of these places go. check our @PetroWasHere and @ARCavingandOutdoors for more caving videos!
This is probably the only youtube channel where "Met some subcribers who took us deep into an unknown cave" doesn't end up with your faces on a milk box... 😅
I think it’s sweet how you guys hype up the kiddie cavers without being condescending. You help them while still letting them do it themselves. The best kind of teachers.
I honestly don't think there is a more generally wholesome community than the caving community. Truly some of the nicest and most kind people I've ever met.
@@BigPanda096 I’ve noticed that and I’m sure it plays a big part in why these videos are so enjoyable to watch. It’s a group of people who truly respect and trust each other.
I’m 63 years old and from New York City you guys make me wish I was 20 again so I could do this stuff with ya. Crazy cool 😎 stuff fellas, be safe and thanks for the upload 🔥🔥🔥🔥👍👍👍
@@JJ-fq4nl 😂👍 hey I feel like I could but when I see the agility and ease that you guys have when caving I have second thoughts 😂😂 looking forward to your next adventure with you guys, stay safe fellas.
Last vid they almost got sealed in a cave because they went through a very unstable passage, which was the only way back as far as I understood, and it was at the brink of collapsing...
Yall ever think about using glow sticks to mark your path so you can find your way back easier? Would also create a cool ambiance. Just gotta pick them up coming back.
Edward/James, you guys always put out such grade AAA class videos and find some of the coolest underground other world. Back in 1969, in my very early teens, there was a few caves in my local woods. One was just a mud sink hole with a 30 X 50 X 4 chamber and the other was a abandoned mine. We had a really shitty flashlight and a book of matches for our light and that kind of sucks. In the last 20 or so years I have been addicted to these LED lights. I have about 80 of them, mostly high power high end. Looks like you have yourself some big boys that turn the night into day. Really cool. Anyway, I am old now and have a hard time walking more that a couple of hundred yards even on a sidewalk (bad knees, bad lungs), with out stopping to rest and catch my breath, so I could not do what you guys do, so thank you for being my legs and eyes and bringing the experience to us. You do a great job. Stay safe and stay young as long as you can.
This is probably my favorite video of yours yet, the cave is incredible and the group has a fun dynamic. Like how you've built a community out of the channel in your area even though ofc most the subscribers live too far to meet, don't think I've seen something like it before.
Makes you wonder how many incredible secret caves are still out there just being silently passed down in families. *And most of those families probably haven't entered them in 50 years if ever
@@chrisjlee2013 you wouldn't believe how many caves are on private land held by the same families for hundreds of years.. I know of a cave system they've mapped about 5-6 miles of and just gave up trying to map it. It's an unknown cave to the public
I’ve been in this cave a couple times and that rope ladder gave me SUPREME SKETCH lol. I’ve got a couple other spots local to this area if you want them. I’m going into one at the end of April that is massive and very close to that one that I think your channel would appreciate
I kinda like this cave. Thanks for the vicarious experience. I know of several holes in my area that blasts out cold air, but I've never gone in them. I figure they have to go pretty far if the air can make plants move 20 feet from the entrances. Maybe someday
@dogge929 Well, most are on private property. I live in Southern Indiana. We have vast cave systems just to my east. Wyandotte cave is about half an hour from me. Caves are everywhere in in Southern Indiana in limestone country.
@@roadkillavenger1325 I was at Blue Springs Caverns in the 80's with the Boy Scouts! 😮 I was in awe! Video doesn't do it justice! Someone, quick, invent the holodeck! 😂
@@paulvamos7319 That place isn't very far from here. I've driven by it many times. I've just not had the time to stop by. Perhaps I'll have to do that eventually
@@roadkillavenger1325 It's a tourist trap! And you can't go anywhere alone because, they have tours! Fun for a boy scout troop but a pro explorer, Nah, unless you want to see the colorless crawfish! Have fun in either case!
@@Jichael.mackson i wanna find my own caves also and explore. What are some tips to find your way back to where you came from? Do you leave kerns on turns?
What an incredible cave, I liked the fluffy crystals and the colour of the pools. The shape of the ceiling looked very familiar. Edward is definitely known as the send it guy. It was also nice to see a bit of James too.
Thanks Edward & James for another good cave explore. You guys seem to be dominating this angle of cave exploration vids on yt and for good reason. That was cool meeting up with the locals from the cave area and doing it with them. Your attitudes are showing a maturity beyond your age and a lack in negative shit that should be lacking. Thanks again for taking the trouble to record and post it for those of us who love the interesting & fun experience
That’s dope you met up with subscribers like that dude - props. Just another reason the Action Adventure Twins are boss. 🤜🏼💥🤛🏼 PS: hook up low range outdoors with whatever lights you’re using dude. 🤌🏼🤙🏼
You guys bring back memories from 50 years ago. Explored a similar cave. Knew nothing about it. Took years to understand it. 3 levels, about 4 miles of passage, random ropes and ladders. Awesome cave.
positive vibes just rolling out my screen! some of those tight spots though...I started to realize I was squeezing the heck out of my phone! thank you for the tour guys!
Many of those rubble piles looked pretty recent. Not just because of the common water flows and trickles you usually get in caves, but fresh mud seems to me to mean there's quite a bit of earth eroding and flowing quickly at times. I've always loved the climbing aspect, but much of the caving I see done today I prolly wouldn't have even attempted back when I did my share of caving. You have to be a little bit on the crazy train for it. Which most of the coolest most grounded most interesting people usually are...A bit crazy. And I resemble that remark. I appreciate you taking us along for the nostalgic vicarious experience. Stay safe in there
It's cool to see you teaming up with fans to do this kinda stuff. You are about the only person I would recommend teaming up with CavemanHikes. That dude goes places, humans shouldn't go.
I just discovered your channel and its crazy how deep you guys get into those caves, hope you can come sometime to Mexico, here we have also a lot of interesting caves to be in.
Best show ever!! This one was worth suffering a little apnea, lol. Thak you gor letting me live vicariously through you. In the language if my generation, you guys are the baddest of the bad asses. Salute.
Man o man this cave is special. So many of earths mysteries and potential unknowns. That little water passage he climbed down to, i wonder is that an under water cave system. Those sends were gnarly!! When the note said 200 hours and still didnt see all of it. This is my top 3 if not my favorite cave video . Gana be hard to sleep tn after watching this lol . Such a good one!!
One of my favorite caves In That part of Tennessee. Lake is dope, and also Garden of Eden. Also there are a lot of big areas that aren’t mapped in that cave as well
@@mattbarry5938 That would be like meeting a favorite movie star or comedian, EPIC! 😂 Too bad I'm old and fat with a hernia the medical insurance won't pay for hanging off my stomach! Tight spaces, spiders, heights and drowning would be just 4 of my major fears with spiders being #1! 🤣💩😳😭
It amazes me how much beauty there is underground in the dark. As always the video was awesome. Thank you so much for sharing your experience, adventure and video. I truly enjoyed watching your video.❤
Thank you so much for sharing this. Being claustrophobic, I can never experience this in person. Loved the rock formations, crystals and all the different rooms.❤Stay safe!
As an active CPA with 14 years of experience I love your vids. I use to surf a lot before I had kids but watching you guys send it reminds me of going out on big days. Keep it up. Us folks in the bleachers are rooting for you.
Im glad this wasnt an expert dive and you guys were staying with everyone, encouraging everyone, and just being the full calmness that is needed in these areas
I really like exploring these caves through proxy but after the cave-in video I don.t think I will watch anymore because I really do not want to see any of you die taking the risks you do. Thanks Man for the great adventures ! :O)
This cave looks fun. Huge open rooms with lots of up and down. Almost like a whole mountain underground. Those other videos with endless low ceilings, rock-clogged tunnels, and water scare me though.
9:15 I'm sure there's at least a few ways, to get down there without repelling...one that'll get you down there VERY fast even! Lol, the issue is whether or not you can get back up out of there :P
Very seldom do I experience jealousy, but this footage had me green with envy for a solid 20 mins. I watched it twice.. I miss little missions and challenges like these. Id give anything to have a friend group like this.
I would love to go caving with yall for my first, of course tho im new so i dont know anything but these things look awesome! please stay safe out there, id love to see your videos more.
How'd y'all enjoy the hike up the mountain?! Lil..I regular that cave at least twice a year! I know the fellas if ya continued around the mountain down the dead end road.
I am totally in awe of you cavers! Curage of youth extraordinaire!! I am so taken by the magnitude of debth with giant open space and clear water I'm almost speechless!! I thank you for sharing your pashion
Awesome cave guys , thankyou so much for that tour , the thing I really like about your channel and you guys is I'm kinda climbing with you guys through the cave , so I'm glad that u guys alway send it when you the oppertunity, because I'm like "oh man come on guys yu have To go down that tunnel . . I'm always eagerly awaiting your next adventure.
I can't even think of a good word to describe how much I enjoyed this video. It made me take a deep breath at times. It was so beautiful. The crystal closeups, it was like I could almost touch them.
I’d love to get sample rocks from your adventures. I’m always seeing things in your videos I’d love to pick up! Lots of what looks like quarts seams and more these adventures are beautiful. 💯 👀
Super gnarly what you guys do very very cool to see what's going on underneath our feet on top of all that you guys be careful and keep and entertaining and don't get hurt cuz that's not entertaining that's just pain
