Who’s still pumping this in 2020!? One of the greatest EP’s ever. I didn’t listen to it for a few years. And coming back to it now ...it still holds up. What a well written masterpiece of an album. Thank you Substructure

This EP will always be one of the top 10 metal EPs of all time, I don't think the band realized it at the time, but this is a timeless classic masterpiece, they are so ahead of their time even according to 2018 standards when they did this in 2012

I don't think people understand......if this EP dropped today in 2024 it would probably be the best EP of the year. 12 years later. This is a beautiful, brutal, work of art. Just came back to this EP after probably 8 years and oh my dear lord. 10/10

2023 now. I always loved the breakdown / groove at 3:10. It’s great to see this EP getting the love it deserves. I was blown away when I first heard it and it continues to stand the test of time.

who's still listening to this in 2016? I used to have it on my iPod Touch and would listen to it when we went to the Grand Canyon a few years ago. Listening to this still takes me back, everytime.

Still come back to this 12 years later. Still have yet to find a band that has this kind of atmosphere. Perfection.

Favorite part = 15:04 - 17:48. The Transition from the end of Monoceros (16:28) to the beginning of Cepheus (17:05) is absolute perfection and true beauty. I love the contrast of terrifying aggression from the vocals, guitars, and drums mixed with the ambient/spacey feeling of the background electronics. Makes me feel like i'm on a different planet... Substructure was truly 1 of a kind... I've rarely experienced the feeling they give me with any other band or genre.

Almost a decade old and you wouldn't know it. The production was outstanding for a single release indy band and the style was so refreshing. Still haven't found any band that scratches the same itch as this. My favorite progressive metal release for sure.

Really sick. The intro just blasts you the fuck in. Reminds me a lot of contortionist, sorta. Not too many bands with that kind of sound.. the sound i constantly search for :'(

It took me so long to find this again! No sign on Spotify, kept thinking the songs on it were Ursa Minor and Ursa Major. Over the course of 3 years. Then I saw Canis Major mentioned on the internet and it suddenly hit me, Substructure! I knew i'd find it again. Such a beautiful EP.

back again for my occasional listen, i didnt realize how sentimental this album has become to me. listening to it instantly brings me back to the good times i had as a teen. thank you substructure, hope you guys are doing well.

this album is so amazing! It's seriously one of my favorite albums of all time. So melodic and heavy at the same time. Perfect mix of trippy ambient music with heavy ass riffs. Can't forget the amazing solo's too

I freakin love that xylophone! It makes me think of Avatar the Last Airbender. I would love this even more as an instrumental. I'm just no longer a big fan of constant dirty vocals that have a very small range and array implementation. Even mixing some cleans in would have made it that much more enjoyable.

I normally don't like the lower growls but the instrumentation is so good.

For anyone who wants to know what happened to this band: "Substructure broke up due to one of the guitarists having somewhat of a meltdown. He just kind of disappeared for a while and wouldn't contact anyone for a few months. The rest of the band just kinda drifted apart after that. "

2024 and my offer to have a Zoom BBQ banging to this album between fans and chatting along still stands unchallenged.
