For some reason I feel like 2017 X is more of a “What if”situation than another self-insert EXE (Like how Starved is a “what if” scenario.) From what I’ve known when searching RU-vid and looking at the art & visuals of this song (Especially the final section,) I something tells me that Sonic is actually just the second half of Solaris (Iblis) using Sonic’s dead corpse as to deceive people & sonic’s friends to think IF he’s the real sonic, but is also using him as a vessel to maintain his form, a somewhat of a compromise until he’s reunited with Mephiles. Either way, it’s just a theory…. A *sniff* game theory…. *cries on the inside.*

Phenomenal song, a PERFECT representation of 2017X and his character entirely, feeling like a modern sonic song but with an evil twist, a wait that is very worth it.

Man, when 2017x said "it's Subterfugin' time" and then Subterfuged all over the place, I could feel the Subterfuge come inside of me.

For some reason when it's at a normal pitch you just hear the average O'Shaughnessey Tails voice but it sounds a bit like Ashleigh Ball's voice (Sonic Prime) when you pitch it down.

the whole song is BRUTALITY!!! every second is worth it. You modified the ending very well, I wasn't expecting that terrible death of tails. And the transformation, you can tell that fake Sonic is truly a monster!!!

Love how the name implies what's going on in the song. If you didn't know Subterfuge is the use of deception and trickery to conceal or get to something. In this case 'Subterfuge' is tricking tails into thinking he's sonic in order to get to him. Love the song by the way honkish :)

as someone who saw the teaser i'm so happy to listen to the full song and i'm not disappointed in the slightest infact i love this song the beginning is foreboding and haunting while still sounding great the rest of the instrumental sounds amazing 2017's vocals are glorious to listen to like one of my favourite vocals for any exe character like RaiGuyyy did such an amazing job on the vocals and tails vocals also sound great and fits his character very well and the art by AdriX just looks beautiful and all these combined create an absolute banger of a song i'm happy your still going strong despite what has happened with daredevil inc but i'm just glad your working on a mod not run by a dickhead so yeah
