@@TheVince099make a macro with shadow dance, shadow blades, symbols of death, thistle tea, and any other trinkets/potions/racials for damage. For abilities make a line with /cast (ability name), for items make a line with /use (item name)
hi :) can some1 explain me why i always have energy issues playing rogue? i mean i do nearly the same as u/he in the video, but at some point i can just autoattack cause im out of energy and everything is on cooldown. this feels unsatisfiying to play. i love playing rougue, but this downtime is annoying. what am i doing wrong? ty for the help!
It’s a balance of pooling energy and hitting attacks. You don’t want to be spamming buttons all the time. Make sure you keep SnD up as it helps with energy regen, and utilize Rupture while not dancing to sustain some dps
Im not playing sub but I had same problem with assa rogue, I fixed it by not spamming abilities, like envenom, envenom makes dmg on press but it also gives you a buff for ~7sec, so I stopped using envenom while I already have the buff and thus saving energy to apply other dots when need as well as refresh envenom buff when it runs out.
U can do Something like this #showtooltip Secret Techniquie /castesequence reset = 3 sec Cold Blood, Secret Techniquie So the CD of Cold Blood ist ready when Secret Techniquie ist ready. But i dont know u can reduce the CD of Secret Techniquie. Maybe u have to Look for this
its basically the single target rotation except when you're in a multitarget situation and DON'T have flawless form up, which is basically never, then you use black powder, can use shuriken storm to build combo points but that depends how long secret technique is on cd still. Secret tech gives guaranteed flawless form, so if the remaining cd is short, you use shuriken storm to quickly gain cp to reset the cd faster. If not, you try to shadowstrike for hidden blade for flawless form. If you dont have a charge of shadowdance, you dont really wanna backstab because it deals no dmg and generates few combo points, so you shuriken storm/black powder to reduce shadowdance cd as well. again, this is only for multitarget situations where you DON'T have flawless form, in all other cases, so 90%+ of the time, its pure single target rotation He did mention holding coup de grace for shadowdance and using black powder instead, but thats a really niche case for a 0,1% dps increase, if shadowdance is about to be ready, yeah one black powder is ok, but if youre gonna hold it for 20secs its not worth it, you could have probably built up another coup de grace during that time
