I have a query Ms. Lyqa, In no. 2 of your last exercise if the traditional method is used, after converting the mixed numbers into improper fractions (2 1/4 minus 1 5/10), are we not going to subtract the whole numbers which are 2-1 in the later part of the process? OR they don't exist anymore since they were already "used" when we converted them to improper fractions? Hence, my answer is 1 and 5 over 6. I'm asking this because, in No. 3, you did the subtraction.

Actually pwedi ideritso si #'s 2 & 3, mas mabilis pa. Ex: sa number 2 lumabas -2/12 tas minus whole number 2 - 1 = 1. Magiging 1&-2/12,, tas ginawa ko convert them into improper fraction tas minus mo lng -2 sa numerator 12/12 which is = 10/12 convert into lowedt term = 5/6. Same them sa question number 3 same result lng napakabilis pa..

Nice po nid tlga makinig pra maintindhan. Pero medyu mahirap magets.

In borrowing from the whole number: let us say the whole number is 3, so is 10 automatically added to the numerator - i mean the value your going to add to the numerator so that it can subtract?just tiny bit confused
