This session I'm fishing with my mate Brendon Fleming chasing Australian bass in the middle of suburbia. We start out all over the place with the plan to meet up ruined by the hectic traffic all around the burbs. We finally find each other and get to work picking apart the surprisingly fishy looking waters of Logan City. I grew up fishing these waters chasing spangle perch on worms and catching gudgeons and swordtails in my bait traps. Back then there were a few carp starting to establish themselves but I never saw or heard of any bass in these waters until now.
