As a former subway manager you could put anything you wanted on the pizza when it came to veggies. Pepperoni and Sausage were the only meat options that didn't cost extra.

In Connecticut they had Flatizzas for a while but almost every franchise took it off menu because they use the same toaster to make pizza as they do to toast sandwiches but pizza takes longer so it slowed down everything. There was one gas station subway in my town that kept them and because of there were a lot of people who liked flatizzas they basically stopped making sandwiches since everyone would go to that subway for pizza.

It's because kids kept asking for pizza. I worked at a subway when pizza was first introduced and it was under subpar. Like if I wasn't working there it wouldn't be worth it

I will say corporate owned subways more often than not carry pizza but it is very unlikely for a privately owned one to have them I know coz I have worked for subway for almost seven years now

The Subways in my city stopped selling the pizzas for a while, and then they brought them back. I was told it was because they kept having people literally walk out if they didn't have the pizzas, so they were losing customers by not having them.

Same. Every Subway I've been to, from California, to Texas, and even in Japan, they always had some shitty frozen pizza that they tossed in the oven for a bit.

@@loganshaw9198 You do not know science. Gunpowder has its own oxidizer and therefore will absolutely function within a vacuum, when contained such as in a bullet. Therefore, yes, guns DO work in space. And they are not "doomsday weapons" in an enclosed place, as a bullet hole will not cause a catastrophic rupture in the structure and can be sealed decently with even a credit card or the like.

@@BattleSpew o really never fired a gun in space to find out or used a artificial vacuum to test ether and those micrometeors cause a lot of damage. I think a bullet would cause the same damage as shooting in a pressurized airplane. Enough to lose atmosphere and pressure maybe not alot but steady losing over time.

I remember working at subway and employees making "pizza" when the flatbread came out (because eating a half sub everyday for lunch got old). Then subway came out with "actual" pizzas.

Reminds me of the one time I had a Bojangles pizza back when I worked at Bojangles. One night, the guy working the biscuit station had some leftover dough that was building up so he kneeded it into a crust, had a co-worker go buy and bring back some tomato sauce and put the sauce on the dough, and chopped up some of the grilled chicken and sausage we would use for some of the biscuits. He topped it with some cheese and I think some peppers and onions he had the co-worker also get and popped it into one of the ovens. It wasn't half bad when normally you'd end up getting a biscuit or something similar each night.

The subway’s in my area use to do pizza and they were just shitty frozen pizzas that come out kinda weirdly soft and goo-like, but they were so fuckin good. My mom use to be a manager for a subway, and when the date one a product says it’s out of date they HAVE to get ride of it, even if it’s something that doesn’t necessarily go ‘bad’ like a bottled coke. So when the date on something said it was ‘bad’ (even tho it was perfectly fine) she would just bring them home instead of throwing them out and me and my brother would have subway pizza WHEN EVER WE WANTED AT HOME. Unfortunately when I was like 13 all the subways around me stopped doing pizza

I worked at a Subway in High School. The customization for pizza is not just pepperoni. I have literally had people ask me to put all the meats and all the veggies on the pizza. It was a pizza mountain disaster. It was a mound of food, smothered in cheese that barely fit into the conventional oven. I had to cook it twice.

I used to work at subway, like many of you here I'm sure. As long as you were able to heat it through without burning it, the pizzas are pretty good. And if there are no customers you can use the door on the oven as a griddle for cooking up some onions and peppers.

I worked at a Subway for years and that pizza was the last resort when every other thing I liked on the menu had grown tiresome as my lunch. You can ask for veggies on your pizza by the way. They're pretty garbage overall, but what can you expect from something made to be taken from a fridge and stuffed in a sandwich toaster oven for 2 minutes and be ready to serve?

I’ve worked at subway for almost 6 years now and I have to say I agree 100%. I’ve almost reached my pizza day actually- though I am trying really hard not to have one. They really don’t taste as good as you can make them look. But that’s like when you make sandwiches isn’t it? Theirs always looks better than yours lol
