Yea unfortunately, the good that comes of it though is that the Mets won't have to face that monster and who knows since it might just be a rental for Texas Mets could possibly eye him for 2017. They did snatch back Reyes.
7 trains were rerouted between Grand Central and Yankee Stadium for the home subway series game in The Bronx so then the Lexington Avenue Line would be jam packed with trains running between Midtown Manhattan and The South Bronx the 149th Street-Grand Concourse upper level platform would be packed with 4 and 7 trains there as they run only up to Yankee Stadium between Melrose and Highbridge the Yankee Stadium station on the Concourse and Jerome Avenue lines would be packed with B,D,4, and 7 trains all terminating at Yankee Stadium, at the end of the subway series at Yankee Stadium and Citi Field 4 and 7 trains are returned to their original lines and run on a normal route and schedule again
Was at that game! got tim byrdak's autograph...was amazing day until cano went deep twice and the mets were no hit for seven innings....by that time i wanted to cry
If this Mets pitcher wanted a Mets friendly train, he should have taken the 7 train (which goes right through the heart of the Mets part of NYC to Citi Field).
Correction, New York belongs to the Yankees and has so ever since the Giants and Dodgers left for California. The Mets are just a failed expirement just like the Islanders, Jets and Nets.
