A mi me llego en polvo , vi la resina en EBAY y estaba en polvo y la compre , pero se me ocurre que en piedra tambien puede servir , es cuestion de partir las piedras bien chiquitas y ponerlas en acohol isopropilico de un dia para otro o mas tiempo , supongo que se van a desacer , en polvo tambien tarda en mezclarse unos dos dias. @@alejandrogonzalez7069 Habria que probar con otros solventes , el alcohol es lo ideal porque seca muy rapido y no deja residuo aguaras no sirve quizas thimer pero con alcohol yo logre resultados perfectos son iguales a las compradas . Saludos !!

@@10luciano1000 si lo voy a intentar.. y la tela habrá que probar con varias.. a ver qué sucede.. Después si puede hacer un molde como esos de aluminio pero de madera.. quizás sea más fácil para nosotros hacer ese molde para arrancar.. para hacer esos sentradores.. quizás sirva porque no llego a conseguir un tornero que me haga a sí de aluminio.. Bueno ya no lo molesto mas... Y espero sus videos.. que siempre los veo.. Gracias!!!

@@alejandrogonzalez7069 De madera no te va a servir , para prensar el molde debe estar a 170grados minimo para que cure la resina.

I use phenolic resin dissolved in isopropyl alcohol My advice is to start with a mix with very little resin. You can make a mixture of concentrated alcohol / resin and then you take a little of that mixture and you reduce it with alcohol until it has a vizcocity similar to water and tests. In any case, the hardness of the spider is determined more by the fabric than by the resin concentration. Heavier fabrics will make you a tougher spider. Use fabrics with more than 65% cotton, the ideal is 100% cotton. The molding temperature can be tested from 170 degrees celcius for about 15 seconds and based on these tests you can make the changes that you deem appropriate. Cheers !!

Phenolic resin with alcohol isopropyl

Is there a specific type of phenolic resin? And where can one look for it?

@@cainduyts1624 I bought it on ebay it comes in powder and the package brings 1 pound that resin I have mixed it with isopropyl alcohol to impregnate the fabric are my first experiences and I do not have much data on the quantities but if I can tell you that the resin / alcohol ratio it works much better when it is quite liquid with little resin it will be a matter of doing your own tests the temperature you can start with 160 degrees celcius depends on the composition of the fabric.
