Hello, thanks for the amazing video!! I am looking for an S tier 1v1 and 1vx class that I can be a top contender with that can also shred evasion targets. Is DK the way to go? I really like her aesthetics but not sure if she can deal with fast grab classes like Ninja, Kuno and Hash. Also SA block classes. I would love to have your opinion. Thank you for your time in advance!
Succession DK does just fine in to Ninja/Kuno/Hash because she can cancel her abilities with side dash. As for SA Block classes, she very much struggles to deal with them. Pearl Abyss has been discussing either *possibly* removing SA+block (Which would be great.) OR giving every class a grab. (They will probably opt to remove SA block.) From a pure 1v1 perspective, classes like Awake Ranger and Awake Striker are very good because they both cut through evasion well and have grabs. (Awaken Ranger's grab being one of the fastest in the game.)
@@AntaresBDO Overall, in comparison to some classes, yes. I run about 930 accuracy (With crystal build.) which is usually enough in to any gauntlet/hybrid. I also have an accuracy offhand for the big evasion memes. Awakening ranger will have more CC/Re-cc options than DK on top of having a grab. The only difference is she lacks the cancels DK has. Really a matter of which class you end up enjoying more.
I kinda feel like Succ DK's 1vx potential and outsmarting multiple enemies in small & large scale fights is better than Awk Ranger's, especially considering Ranger's stamina issue. I might be wrong though. DK not having a grab bothers me but at the same time I enjoy playing DK a lot :D So it is a bit of a hard decision but I think DK may have the upper hand @@ImQuacc
Do you think succ DK has upper hand in pvp compared to awak DK? Cuz I play awak dk, and wondering if I should invest the time and learn the succ spec for pvp
Both have their place. Awakening grinds better and does better in mid range fights/VS melee. For example, Succ DK can struggle in to an Awakening DK because awakening can just kite away at a safe distance. Succession DK has alot of damage and does very well in to evasion targets due to higher accuracy modifiers.
