🇮🇳 Meet Mayur! He has been living in the UK continuously since 2009. In 2018, he was detained by the Home Office and he was set to be removed to India, his flight was booked by the Home Office.
Mayur claimed he was a victim of slavery and was subsequently released from detention. He went to a number of solicitors, however; they were unable to progress his case due to the lack of evidence.
In 2019, Mayur came to see me after watching one of my videos and asked me to take on his case. I informed him that the chances of visa was very low due to the lack of evidence, however; we will try our best.
Fast forward 5 years and after a lot of hard work, Mayur has his visa. He has been recognised as a victim of slavery.
Credit to the team at Kamran & Co Solicitors who have worked tirelessly on this case. This case is an example of how someone’s life could change from the brink of facing removal from the UK.
Hard work pays off, dreams come true. 🇮🇳
