Great episode and Im so glad you picked up on the Roman bit at the end. Hes clearly desperately wanting to get that abuse from his Father, and I think that video acts as a means to believe his Father is still with him. Its really messed up and sad.

While I do think Roman was power tripping and responding to feeling inadequate, I do think he was half right about how they were speaking to and treating him. Gerri, especially, treating him as if he was still under her wing and not her being one of his direct reports. No matter how they feel about it, he is still very much their boss. Wrong way to respond but still. I can't stand CEO Ken and it brings out the bipolar in the man. The whole job itself but god, he leans in so hard. Also, Big Dog Karl humbling him for a second. As for Shiv and Tom, I think I'm the only person who found Bitey kinda sweet lol.
Team Ken is so up! Also contrary to most reactions, I agree with Roman's decision to fire the two people he did. The head of the film studios is out of line and also being flaky with the fact that her film is over budget and sh*t. Gerri doesn't respect him, acting CEO or not. Its a power trip but its objectively correct. Also Greg has not been a 'good guy' for a while now!
I agree with the first lady. Not Gerri. You can't have the relationship you have with her and then all of a sudden expect her to flip a switch and be all yes sir no sir
People doubt Kendall because he always loses, but he only loses because people doubt him. If he gets the support around him then he gets it done, I'm thinking S1E2 family not anointing Ken CEO when Logan was hospitalised, or S1E6 the vote of no confidence going awry, S3E2 at Ravas house like everything Ken wanted; Waystar Royco buying Vault to have a Tech arm so they could rival other Tech companies (Mattson) and then also the idea of buying Mattson out at his birthday too. For me, he is the guy with the moves; he obviously needs validation but unsure why the people around him dont trust him.
