First, she said to MEASURE it when adding to water or soil mix. "Be careful not to put too much," she says. Then she sprinkles it on the dirt. To repell slugs and snails, she adds a lot. Then she says to test your soil for magnesium, and if your soil isn't magnesium deficient, Epsom salt won't do much of anything. Hmmm...I make my own soil mix in a 5 gallon bucket and add 1cup of Epson salt to my secret soil mix. 😉

The strings of pearls are very delicate and finicky succulent. As long as you have it in well draining soil and don't have it placed where it sits in direct afternoon sunlight for more than a couple hours and water it when the dirt is dry it will grow good. They like water, and if you let the soil go even a little top long without a drink, they will dry up quickly.
