I didn’t think I would love this song as much as “me” but it’s the one that has stuck in my head the most. It’s different and catchy and I am so excited to hear the rest of the album ❤

That bridge reminded me a little bit of her version of Happier than Ever, that rock and angry version. I loved this song from start to finish. I read on some people on Twitter that the song felt like two or three songs in one. I personally don't see that, but I guess we all feel different things about music, and that is the great part of it. I think this is the single, at least is one that I have seen the most on playlists over on Spotify and Apple Music. But who knows, we will see. I can barely wait until June 23rd for the complete album

Fascinating to hear the comparison you made of Regina Spektor and Florence+the Machine, i'm here for it! I agree It's such a different sound from what we're used to from KC, and yes "Mine" has grown on me after playing it a couple of times, so I think it'll happen for most people too

I love both new singles, but I'm finding Mine is in my head more often. There's something about Mine that cuts. It doesn't sting at first, but then it burns and stings and is the one you need the stitches for.

I am not sure how much play time she will get on radio which happened to her on Meaning of Life. She chose Atlantic Records because I think her artistry is more important to her than air time. Sad that this will keep many from hearing her fabulous voice. But she has her fan base that will always be there.

I had to listen to both songs like 6 times before I could even sort of decide if I liked one better lol. The night of release everyone posted polls on Twitter asking which one. I’m like how TF. I can say that organically Me is performing better on iTunes.

MINE is the radio single, not ME. Its being promoted to her main formats, the only 2 formats that still play her, hot AC & AC (adult top 40 & adult contemporary radio). kelly said Atlantic picked the singles this time around. kelly said with this album, she is fine with whatever they release. these 2 songs were not even the first original plan they wanted to go with. im guessing they wanted to go with the obvious pop/rock break up anthem, so maybe they would release the uptempo banger as 2nd single around the album release for maximum impact??

I think it's supposed to be shown as innocent. She went into the relationship innocent and naive and sweet and funny and unfortunately he turned her into something that is different and has scars now. So its that sweet tone and then at the end she sings acapella to kinda show her change and ability to be alone. Also you were supposed to listen to this one first lol. 😏

yeah man i agree with you… but you know what, I thought she was gonna come out with something like since u been gone or Never Again or even something like Happier than ever…. u know… I say these, because although this songs are very beautiful, they are very sad… I miss angrier Kelly, but oh well , she’s probably in a different place, but let’s wait for the rest of the album, just bought Chemistry on itunes today…

Come on Atlantic! June 23rd?! You’re killing us! I guess since we have waited 3 years since the divorce and 6 for a studio album (that wasn’t Christmas or covers, which I loved btw, don’t get me wrong), what’s another 2 months, right? LMAO Kelly would have rather released them altogether since they are connected, but labels are gonna label. Lol 🤷🏼‍♀️ I prefer Mine over Me, it’s very much growing on me so you might find that too Topher. Me is good too, don’t get me wrong. Reminds me of MoL with a broken heart. I’m just chomping at the bit to hear the rest lol. 💔🍷☀️ Unfortunately I’m one of the ones who received an apology for relatability, I got divorced not long before she left Brandon, and while I hate that for her, I love that I can relate.
