@@hancock1082 even in New York this is stupid. My apartment is easily twice this size and cheaper. I feel like every landlord video i see, they are showing off an apartment that’s at least $1,000 over what comparable apartments in the area cost. I’m starting to think it’s a conspiracy so that people who are looking will expect higher prices and think they’re getting a good deal when they actually look at apartments.
Spiral staircases are the shittiest feature ever and they’re always presented to potential tenants with a flourish, like we’re expected to be charmed by those death traps.
Stockholm, Sweden. 650 square feet apartment, 44 square feet balcony, overlooking a park with tennis court and grill area. Pine and birch tree tops 5feet from my windows. get to see both sunsets and sunrises through my windows. 650 bucks a month for rent. heat, warm water, basic cable TV and garbage disposal included. laundry room in the building also included. 50 square feet storage unit in the attic included. That's what state controlled rent should be like.
That’s bs. If I wanted to rent an apartment in Stockholm tomorrow a single room would cost that much. Certainly not for a whole new apartment. Maybe it’s been passed down and rent stabilized but a rent stabilized would also be way less in NYC. You can’t compare old v new prices. And like I said in the beginning, 650 would be for a room
I mean,a mortgage is just rent with interest so unless you own outright in a prime area, you're wasting money too.Oh & a half acre is just a small square like the rooftop deck on this apartment 🤷🏿♀️
In New York, when a realtor or an ad for an apartment says "Lots of Natural Light," That translates to "your views are usually the windows of the adjacent bldg. or a brick wall & no city views unless maybe you stand on your fire escape or bldg. roof.
I'm from West Texas. That price here would get you a 3-4 bedroom, 2-3 bath, and 3500 square foot house on acreage with 365° of sunrises and sunsets to die for. Not to mention peace and quiet. Also, you wouldn't be crowded 😂
I think it is so cute. I would never be going up those stairs to go outside for sure. I think that would be a good fire escape god forbid you should need it. I love the washer/dryer unit. A good place for one person. The floors are nicely done as well. Thanks for posting.
This is a divided studio with not much square footage. Instead of a combo machine they should have separate washer and dryer. The tiny roof deck is only a tiny asset. Not cheap!
Living room tall high space can be used with a wood double structure hosting the living room area at ground level and the bedroom or an office space upfloor, so to have the last room still free to be used further. I would do living room and working studio area, so to have the bedroom totally private and separated
For all of you saying it’s too expensive, and apartment is only worth what people will pay for it, if people are willing to pay 3800, then that what it’s worth.
People go where the jobs are and bossman insists you carry your laptop to an office so he can stare at some strange. --- remember all the assholes who were so on board with office workers going back to work: that traffic is their own damn fault and deserve every fatality accident there is.
You know you're poor when you get excited about a tiny New York City apartment and then realize that the monthly rent is a third of your yearly paycheck. 😂😢😮
If it's so great, why is it shown on multiple sites? I've seen this place featured on 3 different sites for six months. Maybe if it weren't so expensive.
I understand living spaces in the big cities in USA are very small, I understand the cost of living is high, I understand the owner did his best with the little he had. The appartment has some nice features for a single person, maybe a youtuber, but it really isn't practical or comfortable. High ceiling means in winter you'll freeze and in summer you can cool off only your bedroom or bathroom.
I forgot there was a bathroom at the entrance and thought the stairs led to the bathroom… not gonna lie, totally imagined having to run up those stairs when the time hits
This is a studio that they added the wall/doors in to make a one bedroom to charge more. As well. One coat closet (w washer in it) and one small closet in “bedroom”. There is pretty much nowhere to put your belongings. Nice area but a rip off. I live in manhattan and have seen many many apartments.
It is really cute but that tight stairway wouldn’t work for me if I were trying to bring a drink or snack up top. It’s just too small for me. But still neat.
Man yall better move to Houston..You pay that much for rent You can rent a 5 bedroom house 2 car garage huge back yard good school district for that amount
what is it whit New your appartment whit been designed for not living there. like, we got space for 1 bed and one TV (watch from bed). no kitchen table (maybe a 1 seat table). the kitchen, we got a fridge and a oven/microwave but again no space to cook. its the perfect kitchen for a person that never cooks and only store bear in the fridge and instant pizza or something equal.
