Last year I was at district jazz and we played this. Our director was Mike Kamuf. I got to hear him play a trumpet solo for the "rocky 12th round theme" it was amazing.

0:22 This section could benefit from giving the pianist a Rhodes electric piano for comping, and a synth bass keyboard for the unison sections with the actual bass/bassist. This can also work for Mike's take on Well You Needn't.

Less was our big band conductor at the University of Windsor --and I was at the piano. OK he is a genius! I'd like to gat a hold of him but how?? any ideas ?
