I've only ever heard the title track on this album. The lyrics are super repetitive but it's catchy and it rocks. The video is pretty gross though. I own hair salons so we've played her quite a bit and I love her later stuff.

I love Britney Spears (I’m 22, so it’s the music I grew up with.) I’ve tried countless times with Van Hagar, but I can’t. Sammy can’t decide if he should try to badly rip-off DLR or Bon Scott. Infuriatingly bad. So, I’d take Britney over Van Hagar. (Though I’d take Christina Aguilera over both, as much as I love Britney.) (I’ve heard Gene and Paul constantly joke that “Christine Sixteen is now Christine SIXTY” and that “times change.” Britney is gonna turn 41 this year, so I guess the same applies?)

Aguilera got a set of pipes on her and is much better looking than Brittney. Christina, I always considered more of a real musician than Britt. I turned 41 back in June, I remember when they came out and will admit I couldn’t take my eyes off Christina’s video for the song Dirty and remember being surprised at how great she sang during her live performances. I guess I’d probably rather listen to Christina than Balance but neither would be my first choice if I had to listen to mainstream pop music it’d be Lady Gaga all the way for me. Thanks for taking me back to 99-2003.

Maaannnn.... lol. I actually like Balance quite a bit. I think it's the underrated gem in the Van Halen discography. It's still doesn't beat the first four Van Halen albums for me, but I quite enjoy that record. ...Baby One More Time, hey she was really cute at the time, and I was a kid hitting puberty and found her pretty hot. There some nostalgia for it, but it's not something I listen to too much nowadays.
