I had a near death experience.3 of my friends stopped to get Mc Donalds on the way to fish. I was driving. I took a bite of my cheeseburger and my friend told a joke and i laughed and suck the hamburger down and choked. My friend thought I was just coughing and said "thats what you get for not laughing at my joke. I started to panic as anyone knows who has choked on food. I started to black out and then a peace that I had never felt and have never again come across my body. My life did flash in front of me. I was just 18 but it was just like they say. My friend in the passengers seat slapped me on my back and i spit the cheeseburger up on the windshield. I owe him my life.

Your lucky that you had someone there to help you cause when I was little my mom made the mistake of feeding me fish mind you I was a little kid so I didn't know that I had to separate the meat from the bones I didn't know any better and I started choking on one of the fish bones cause it got stuck in my throat sideways so it hurt to swallow I started panicking and out of fear while I was in full blown panic mode I grabbed a glass of juice and I started chugging it the juice made the bone go down slowly and it was very painful but after a while the bone got unstuck and it went down completely I was choking and I had to deal with it alone your lucky that you had someone there

I almost drowned in my bathtub. I had long hair, and weak knees. My guess is my knee buckled and I hit my head, falling in the shower. My drain had filled up with my own hair, and blocked the water from my shower. I woke up to my sphynx cat, smacking the shit out of me and screaming in my face. When I came to, water had passed my mouth and almost entered my nose. My Sphynx then watched out for me every shower I took after that. She's 14 now and deaf, and doesn't notice when I shower anymore... but thankfully, I'm not living alone now.

@Echoes you did Richard Russell dirty in this video. If I remember right, he was struggling with depression since his job was horribly monotonous and had always wanted to be a pilot and tried to apply for a license but didn't succeed (I think it was a medical reason but I cant remember). He was very respectful throughout communications with the ATC. He also didn't intend to survive his flight, but also made sure he wouldn't end up killing anyone either. His was a sad story, not some game addict stealing a plane for fun and lolz, as your video portrays him.

He might be a good person. But the moment he hijacked the plane he is not at all a good person. I hear his sound and all in another video and think he is so good and smart. That doesnt approve his foolish act, to fly a plane with out any prior knowledge.. what if it stuck and caused accident. Even hitting one ground staff cant be acceptable.. also he himself ended his life. So sorry bro. we cant ask anyone to narrate him cool.

@@psgistheworstclubineurope I never said what he did was alright. I never supported the idea of high jacking a plane, since even though his intention was to never cause harm to anyone else, that doesn't mean he couldn't have done severe damage, and even harm unwillingly (plus a plane was just totaled and the owners were perhaps a little unhappy with that). What I DID say, was that portraying him as a thrill seeking moron was just plain WRONG and UNTRUE, and casts a shadow on his tragic tale, one which many other people are suffering and one which should be under more attention, so we can learn from it.

My college friend was in an older medical building with their toddler for a doctors visit. The toddler wanted to take the elevator, which stopped briefly at the first floor as expected, then jerked and plummeted into the basement below. The fallen elevator was now tilted and the open buttons did not work, and as the lights started to flicker they noticed a weird sound……then, water started pouring in the corner. The elevator had fallen onto a water main below it. After a few scary trys that failed, they were able to brute force the door open and carried the toddler thru water up to their knees and rising. By the time they went back to the doctors office and brought staff to see, the water was well up the basement stairs and later essentially filled the basement. Had the door not opened…they would have been in trouble and had knee and tibia injuries from the 15 foot vertical drop. I often see in videos about how safe elevators are, they can’t fall like in the movies, etc. ….but never thought that could happen.

I have been in the spa business in so cal since the 70's. We used to make them with one suction in the bottom. As we started using more jets with more powerful flow, that suction became quite strong. Then we had a couple of deaths where hair became stuck in the suction holding the person down. I myself saw this happen to a young girl; she did not drown because I recognized what was happening and pulled her out. We then started using multiple points of suction so that the suction would be not be strong at any one spot.

I almost drowned while kayaking on the Occoee river in Tennessee. I flipped in a rapid called Double Suck and I couldn't roll up. I finally got out of the boat and the current pulled me deep enough for it to get dark. I saw a perfect image of my wife and six month old daughter and thought to myself that this is it, but then I popped up about fifty yards downstream. When I saw the image of them while under there, it was the most peaceful feeling I have ever experienced. My friend who was on the river bank and watched it all said i was under about a minute.

For all the people whining about how they made Richard look bad... Richard made Richard look bad when you hijack a plane you steal it you put other lives in danger. And what you steal then DESTROY is worth millions of dollars. I've had a horrendous life I've had horrible depression I've been through more tragedy in my 60 years than most people have been through in multiple lifetimes. It doesn't give you the right to do what he did. Stop making excuses for people stop whining about how it made him look bad. What he did with his own life was his choice when he chose to take it or when he chose to live it that's his choice but doing what he did was absolutely 100% wrong and illegal. *Aeroflot Flight 593. Captain Kudrinkski let his son steer the plane on autopilot. He programmed the A31O (SchoolBus) to make a right turn and told his son to gently turn right, making his son get the feeling he was flying the plane but the right turn went from a right turn to a severe bank angle that became so bad, the SchoolBus inverted and the G forces couldn't allow the Captain to get back in the pilots seat and regain control. Over 2OO people perished all because the Captain broke serious commercial passenger Aviation rules for his 12 year old Son. Such a senseless tragedy.💯%*

I almost died.. Oahus north shore almost killed me when we first moved there, as i stood with my back to the cliff/ocean. A huge wave crashed over, swept my legs from under me and pulled me off the cliff into the water. I tried grabbing with my hands to slow me( on lava rock cliffs) and bashed my face off the lip of the cliff going over. Somehow i didnt land on rocks in the water…. Probably because i was knocked out briefly and was limp going in the water. We ended up needing coast guard to rescue me then i spent 6weeks in hospital with skull fracture, broken arm, broken leg, 4 broken fingers, broken eye socket and nose, 6 broken ribs, dislocated shoulder, lacerated liver, bruised kidneys and i needed 135 stitches and 5 surgeries. When I was 2, I went to Hawaii with my parents. We went to Pipeline and my dad took me for a walk along the shore. I was tired, so we sat down on the sand, at what my dad thought was a safe distance from the waves. It was on a little hill. My dad said he looked away for just a second and when he looked back a giant wave was about to crash right on top of us. I actually remember this. We were swept away, I recall being spun over and over, and then a sharp pain in my head. The wave pulled us apart from each other, and my dad just happened to get lucky and grabbed a handful of my hair. All the lifeguards and onlookers saw it happen and they all thought I was a goner. But for God grace he was able to pull me towards him by my hair. The wave carried us quite a ways out, and my dad could hardly keep us above water. Thankfully the lifeguards were able to save us. I recall coming ashore, crying and my dad was crying too. It was a close knee n. We weren't injured thank God. But we stuck with the hotel pool after that lol. There are tons of inaccuracies on YT, and some fakes….so many in gardening that there is a sub genre that reacts to fake gardening videos and explains why they are fake. Or content farms, where people use Chargpt to write a script, have an AI voice read it, and have a computer edit stock footage to the background….it’s garbage, but quick to make and if they ad a clickbait title, enough people click on it that they make a bit of money.

He fooled me not knowing he was just floating so I jumped and soon as I jumped I sank to the bottom wailing my arms and started drowning. I was horrified because I knew I was about to die. When all the sudden he helped me by putting me on his shoulder and walking into the side of the river. Later on he taught me how to swim. He said of what could happen to me if I had slipped of a rock that is why he taught me and same day we spent all day teaching me how to swim. He felt really bad for almost making me drown.

The smell thing is very variable, and it can be much less if the body is wrapped in something, or in a container or closed closet/room, or if the person is thinner, how hot or cold it is, etc . There are multiple cases where bodies were missed for days in a house or missed during even police searches of buildings. So, the smell may not have been the myth of an overwhelming bad smell, or people may have thought a raccoon died in the storm drain or under the house, etc. Even dogs aren’t always great at finding bodies. The Jamison families bodies were eventually found by hunters within a couple miles of their abandoned truck, the center of the huge search, and none of the many dog teams found the bodies on the surface.

My horse suddenly stopped near the trees that we usually rode through to get back to the main barn. Now, there are two ways to get into the main barn from the trail ride I was doing which are either the trees or the river. I usually rode through the trees because I didn't like having to deal with mud on my horse's fur when we got back. When he stopped all of a sudden, I paused since that had never happened before. Usually, my horse would sprint through the trees to get back to the barn because I would give him treats once we finished. I just decided to turn around and head to the other entrance via the river since I didn't want to force my horse through the trees at this point, we both were tired and wanted to get back to the barn. Later, once I had untacked and finished all my barn chores, a friend came up to me and was talking about how police and animal control were out by the tree entrance because somebody reported a mountain lion was hiding in one of the very trees that riders would go under. I ran back to my horse and checked him over so many times before hugging him and crying. Gave him some sugar cubes and made sure to treat him like a king. He saved my life without me knowing it and I will always be grateful for that. His name was Chase and he sadly passed away a couple years ago due to old age.

Once when i was at my grandma's house, we were about to eat lunch. My grandparents had a small dog who was always on leash, beucase she was rather aggressive. When we started eating lunch that day, the dog suddenly rushed through the door, and pounced up at me. I stood up onto the chair, and as the dog tried to get up to the chair, i jumped off, and ran. I ran through the living room, the hallway, and managed to squeeze myself into the first bedroom just in time. My grandma came and hushed the dog out, putting her back onto leash. Both of us were crying as it never happened before. Ever since then, im afraid of dogs, no matter how big or small, fierce or cute they are. Some years later the same dog bit my grandpa as well, and he had to be rushed to the hospital. Thats when my grandparents had enough and they either sold the dog or put her to sleep, I dont remember that part.

My vision went white and then the front wheel of the red car was halfway up the windscreen and the tire was inches away from my brothers ( 17) face because he was sitting in the passenger seat. I still find it hard to go farther than 15 minutes away in a car

I got into a really bad car accident two weeks ago. I was the driver, no one else in my van. I drove a 1995 Chevy Astro van, it was my baby and my favorite. I was driving at dusk, I live in the country, and a deer jumped out right in front me. I panic and jerked my wheel. My van went into a 20fy ditch and nose dived right into a tree going 50 mph. The whole passenger side was crunched up into the passenger seat. If someone else was with me or had I hit that tree any closer to me…. I’m sure I would I’ve lose my legs, or worse.. I’m lucky to be alive.. the last thing I remember is jerking me wheel and the sound of brush from the top of the ditch hitting my wheels. I woke up to the taste of whatever is used to set off the air bags. The inside of my van was destroyed and full of smoke. I felt blood running down my face. The air bag knocked me out for.. I have no idea how long. Next thing I knew someone was banging on my window telling me the ambulance was on its way. I’m still traumatized from the experience. I’m lucky I only walked away with a black eye, scraped up face full of glass and a torn PCL from my knee slammed against eh dash board. I’ve had nightmares about me experience. The PTSD from it he so bad that I’m finding myself jumping at the little things and getting anxiety from something as small ad taking my new car through the car was because I cannot see my surroundings. I’m grateful to be alive, I’m grateful I will be able to dance as I’m a professional ballroom dance and instructor, My, now, husband and I had planned to get married two days after my accident months in advance. We still had our ceremony. If I and lost my life my husband would have be traumatized also and my step children. I’m lucky to be here.

My whole family of nine people was in a 14 passenger van going up a mountain road that my dad said was safe my mom strongly advised us not to go on it because it was snowing pretty bad we got to inclination that was about 25 degrees and we started slipping backwards toward the cliff at the sharp turn, also there was no gourd rails🥶 ( the brakes and going forward did not help ), we all sat extremely still and it finally stopped slipping and I got out to put rocks under the tires but the van had absolutly no traction and it was certain death if it didn't stop sliding, eventually a big tractor with chains came and towed us down the hill. Up was just a windy blizzard with 5 foot snow drift it was crazy. Definitely the nearest I ever got to dying 🥶.

Almost drowned scuba diving. I’d used almost all my air, but still some pressure left. My wife was in our boat, buoyed over the wreck, and dropped her weight belt about 30’ under. I sank down to fetch it, and tied a rope around it not realizing the other end had coiled around my tanks, holding me down as I tried kicking up. No prob, I’ll just inflate my vest, but ran completely out of air and was sucking a vacuum. I totally panicked, trying to muscle-swim my way up, and my vision began to ‘vignette’ or get smaller. I could feel the tingling effects of passing out when my eyes chanced seeing the buoy’s anchor chain. I grabbed it, pulled myself up - so fast and stupidly, I almost slammed my head into the sharp bottom fin of our outboard motor - thankfully it had only ripped my mask off and gashed my face. AIR! Stupid, stupid, stupidity. I was young, in shape, healthy, cocky, impatient, should have just taken my time and planned this and either got another tank or just stripped and did a free dive. But the worst was that I panicked and completely forgot my training. All I would have had to do was release the velcro on my vest, release the claspon my weight belt, let everything fall away from me and rise up with my buoyant wet suit. I fucking practiced those motions a dozen times under water, hundreds of times in my head, a dozen times on dry ground. Drowning didn’t almost kill me. Stupidity almost did.

i do not know much about the short story I am about to tell but in the early 70s, my grandma age 25 was working in her office in Senegal Africa, it was a typical day, nothing out of the ordinary. I guess one thing was out of the ordinary, the office had installed a new elevator a couple of months ago. But the day before her accident the elevator had been fixed for a minor issue related to its slowness. My grandma being always the first at the office did not think about it and got in, as the elevator rose, nothing was wrong till it completely stopped, she tried to press the bottom to the 12 floors and if I remember correctly was the closes floor to her at the moment. After not even 2 minutes she heard a loud snapping sound, that sound came from the cables holding the elevator up, she fell 12 stories ( if I remember correctly ), she barely survived her injuries and flowed back to France to receive better care. she suffered a broken leg and issues with her lower back and neck. Now she calls herself a cyborg because she has had a lot of surgery adding metal ensuring she could still function like a normal person. We are all grateful that she lived and had a successful life.

i have been stuck in elevators and fallen in them alot of times. i got stuck once in lisbon and was in a falling one in bangkok. i dont know how i survived the falling one since it was from 13 floors. i just hugged my friend and my sister, the next thing i know we were in a dark elevator falling. the doors opened revealing the lobby staff. we havent clicked the alarm bell but we survived. when i got stuck with my sisters and mom in lisbon, it was a tiny elevator with a broken emergency bell. there was no cell data because we were on the -3 floor. some lady who lived in the apartment of our garage was parking her car in the -3rd floor and heard our shouts for help. she went to her apartment floor and brang a knife to pry open the doors a little bit to let oxygen in. the firefighters then let us out because of that lady.

When I was a child and could not swim, I would spend summers with the mother of a friend, along with another friend. I was Donna, and the others were Debbie and Diane. We called ourselves "The three D's." One summer we went to a lake, which was known to have holes. That is, the ground was not even under the lake and there were many potholes. I couldn't swim, but the three of us took turns walking out into the water up to our chins and then returning. Once, when I went out, I lost my footing and lost my balance and began floating away. I could not reach the ground and was being pulled out into the lake. I was screaming, but the mother thought we were all playing, until she saw me in the middle of the lake. I kept going under the water, but trying to stay afloat. By the time she saw that I was not kidding around and got up to jump in and swim out to me, I fell unconscious. When I woke, I was face down on the beach, water pouring out of my nose.

I fell down while climbing a little cliff in northern Italy. I started to fall backwards but somehow decided to make a little jump and rotated face forward. I looked at my friends below if they could catch me but they were too far to the side (so yelling was not required). I remember seeing the landscape and feeling the wind in my face, actually enjoying the serenity. I looked down to see where i would land and looked back up again, then started balancing by spreading my arms and rotating them. The next moment I remember I was patting my torso and head, not knowing why I was doing that. A feeling of pure euphoria hit me while my consciousness was still booting back up. My wrist was the first limb to report trauma, then my ankle; I brought them to a pool of water and laid them to rest. (My ankle was shattered and tendons snapped off the ligaments in my wrist). Two months later I asked myself why/how I made all the last resort actions while I was falling backwards. "It couldn't have gone any other way" was my answer., "since otherwise I would have landed on my back/neck". I instantly had to cry/ball as it felt like attending the funeral of 70% of the multiverse versions of me.
