Seems like most people are on the same page. Love the adventures Pauly. Good to see the b'ys again. One day, maybe, they will join us back on ze ol' RU-vid ❤️
For me, watching dredging is about the bed rock and watching the silt, rock and yes, gold going up the tube. Clear underwater shots are fascinating. Love the channel.
@@PioneerPauly I heard a lot your concern about how repetitive could be dredging shots, but also panning it's practically always the same thing. We love seeing the adventure and also the way you present your videos is always really fun to watch Greetings from Italy :)
I still would love to see an ASMR of one shot of a camera mounted on the dredge nozzle just before the the handle part and a second camera showing the materials flowing.
Wow great trip Pauly,I love my little 2 Keene if you get a small hand rake cultivator you can use it on the nozzle to help prevent jams,,alltho I like blackberry jam ,it's cool to see the little 2 pull that much gold in a tank of gas
Sniping is more fascinating to watch. This is informative and your narrative is interesting. I love seeing the gold as you find it rather than at the end of your river vacuum cleaner.😆
i know it is al in the past :D, but next time you dredge with a small nosle would it be handy to bring somekind of rake? with the teeth spread apart far enough to leave the little stuff behind but easier to rake away the bigger rocks. Just a thought :D.
Cracking effort mate, a gram a tank not too bad at all, I bet you don't miss those bloody flies though haha, keep em coming mate, I look forward for your next adventure 😉
Put a flat nozzle on the tip like on a vacuum cleaner. So less big rocks get in. Or use 2 mesh filters offset on each other so itll let small in but not big
Good to see you again Pauly along with Rex & Darren. I like that little dredge you are using and I bet using it all day wears you out?. Keep em coming mate and have a great week.
I’ve been with you since before you started sniping. So keep whatever content you have coming and I’ll watch and support as you go. Thanks for what you do, you keep it fun and entertaining.
Can’t remember if I mentioned this but I have special needs kids. One whom is Autistic and one with selective mutism (extreme debilitating anxiety). But now they also want to find gemstones like the ones you found with Dan and arrow heads like you have. I got some research to do here in the state of Maine to see if I can find some areas to search. Thanks for your outdoor adventures keeping it real, clean, and most importantly fun for everyone.
Hey, Pauly checking in and wondering how you are and waiting for another video. My whole fanily has officially declared you hilariiusly entertaining, and of course, they love your gold sniping! I have watched another before finding yon in their video as a guest and found they dont seem to be committed to their subscribers much anymore too bad when they hit it big by the subscribers who got him there. Please stay true to you and know your fans love ya and will always be here for ya!
The bird at 13:52 is a kakaruai or south island robin! Pretty neat wee guys and real rare, at least on the east coast. They look pretty much circular when they tuck their wee heads in.
Lol, I'm still way better than I was last week...that is priceless @Pioneer Pauly. Thanks for all you do having fun. Hope to join you someday. Go dig some gold brother. PS: I would try using my fingers and "grizzly bars" run the nozel behind...claw the rocks back with one hand pick up what you stir up...
I love sluices highbankers pans metal detecting. Gold dredging and sniping videos. As ling as you are making gold hunting content. It is going to be awsome
Hey Paulieeeeeee... What about a little garden rake or two.. One with the rakes cut to a Vee-Tip. Save your gloves and fingies. Call it the Reuval-Schloovel.
here in norcal , we get a lot of black sand like that ,so in order to spend more time in the river , we bring our black sands home and pan them there. panning takes up alot of time that is valuable when at river.
Hey Pauly awesome stream. Ya know if you could get a polarized lens cover we could see underwater at this end. Might as well stay in NZ for as long as you can. Takes a half an hour to drive across tooke.
I was surprised at how much stone you were allowing up there! It's almost like you'd want one of those small hand rakes to clear it all off quickly and leave behind the good stuff.
see if you can solder some sort of screen on the end of your nosel you can get some thin gauge aluminum rod and run them so you're quartering the diameter of the inlet. its pretty effective of making sure the only thing going through the dredge is what wont get stuck
Props for carrying that dredge upstream Pauly. That’s hard work! The amount of gold you guys find here is staggering! It’s very slim pickings where I live in Missouri. I might look sometime but I’ll probably stick to finding crystals agates and fossils
Good job mate we may not have lions bears and other crazy things that try and get you will out prospecting but those sand flies can be savage little blood dredgers 👍
yeah you are right. The videos of the mini dredge don't have a lot of watchability. The sniping videos from australia were wild. So are the ones when you are at home on the Island or in B.C. The appeal is seeing the gold in its natural situation. There is a feeling of being there with you. The dredge just feels like you are watching someone else do something you aren't part of. Sort of like when you were a kid and you saw someone else with the girl you wanted to dance with. But sniping is like feeling like she is hanging out in the same group as you and anything could happen as long as you paid attention. Regards from Surrey
Pull my stings and ill go high :) What a cute baby dredgy. Is it something about cleaning and washing on the creek, as our for fathers done it. Good job!
Would it be worthwhile designing a nozzle with an inbuilt mesh (at the mouth of the hose) in order to prevent the larger gravel/pebbles from entering it..?
Don't need to say much more than everybody else has said I enjoy both you and Dan, and the way that both of you present your views and means! If I get the chance my bucket includes a fortune seeking trip, but reality, I may find a few flakes! 😂
So destructive on our environment. The substrate of the river provides a range of micro habitats that support a wide range of invertebrates and fish. They provided hiding places for aquatic invertebrates from predators and offer egg laying sites. The substrate contains microorganisms and invertebrates that are a vital part of the larger ecosystem. All being destroyed as you disturb and suck it up with your equipment and drive over it with your truck.
Your videos are highly entertaining! I have recently found my first flakes ever panning on my parents property. Needless to say I am hooked and a little too excited. It should also be mentioned that after week of panning I might have enough to buy a coffee. 😂 Cheers from Merritt B.C.
It’s cool when I see the gold before u pick it up it’s like mission accomplished for me and I’m not the one gettin the gold u kno 😅 happy for you guys tho keep grinding
