Sudan is a unity come solidarity song which was sang to praise the good works that were done by the South Sudan leaders to come to a peace agreement during the second Sudanese Civil War. one of the key players of peace mentioned in the song is Dr. John Garang de Mabior (June 23, 1945 - July 30, 2005)who was a Sudanese politician and revolutionary leader.
