Wow, that was a lot of music you got through Alex and very eclectic. I personally really like Houses of the Holy. It is up and down but when it’s up it’s great. Stand out track for me The Rain Song, beautiful Zep. Shame that Lizzy’s Bad Reputation came out right in the storm that was Punk and so was really bypassed a bit in the UK. I love punk but I also love Lizzy and saw them several times. I’m coming round in the afternoons and evenings Alex but I’m going to avoid the mornings 😂😂 Mike

Houses of holy is fantastic. No quarter was one of the early tracks in my intro to zeppelin. The crescendo on rain song is top notch

Hey Alex. I'm right with you on Reckless by Bryan Adams. Chock full of hits. Fantastic record. As far as Cat Stevens, other than Tea for the Tillerman and Teaser and the Firecat, both semi-masterpieces, his albums are pretty spotty for me. Thumbs up for Houses of the Holy. Led Zeppelin rules!!!

This week was heart breaker for me. I ordered the new Kelly Finnigan record, but I wanted the bundle. I ordered it 1st thing in the morning when they announced it but my card got declined. I was literally 1 dollar short. By the time I got off work to deposit a couple bucks. . . THE BUNDLES WERE ALREADY SOLD OUT😭😭😭. But I guess I'll count my blessings, I got a Colemine exclusive lol

Isaac Hayes was so, so very-very *great.* VMP reissued an OST of his called "Tough Guys" a while back & it is totally worth picking up, btw! That one is the most concise of his film-music albums... Nice sax soloing throughout, too, & Tarantino even used one of its songs. Degüello has always been my favorite ZZ Top album. I'm particularly fond of "Lowdown in the Street". Do we have to join the live stream to make fun of you, or can we just keep crapping on you in the comments?

some people worship Fugazi and those 1st 2 Marillion records. For nearly 30 years, I've tried to love Fugazi, and while the title track and the single "Assassing" I appreciate, sadly, it often comes across as largely being about dark, metaphorical (and sometimes sexual) poetry from Fish, more than the music being as important. I suppose stuff like Vander Graaf Generator and some other bands took similar approaches, and may grow on you. It just hasn't really. As an aside, a track like "Cinderella Search" is wonderful, but was not included on Fugazi. Had it, I might have more appreciation for that record.
