This was both informative and bittersweet. I have had many cats over the years and most have ended up dying from one of the conditions in this video. Heart failure, heart murmer and stroke took 3 without any warning at all. Kidney failure and cancer took 4, and even though we had some time with them before we put them to sleep, that time was very short from diagnosis to death. Your video made an important point.....cats (and other animals, but especially cats) can be ill without showing any outward signs. I gather from your sister's comment that your cat Lucas died, quite possibly suddenly. Love and comforting thoughts to you and Missy and I'm raising my wine glass in a silent toast to sweet Lucas.......I know how it feels. It's an aching loss and a hole in your soul that never completely heals. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Hello. I just got my 6 months persian cat 4 days ago from one of my friends but he died this morning. He just got his vaccine shot and are diagnosed with ear mites when I bring him to vet after getting him from my friend's house. The first day he come to my house, he's energetic, runnning and playing around. But suddenly he started to not eat and drink well so i brought him to veterinarian yesterday. My veterinarian said the ear mites are getting worser so they cleaned my cat's ears and gave him antibiotic shot but when my cat came home he suddenly can't walk properly. The doctor told me to give him fresh goat milk using syringe and gave pain relief medicine to him but after that he kept on drinking so much water and became restless throughout the night. He yowled and changed his sleeping position a lot. Suddenly, this morning he died. I don't know the reason why he is dead and i'm so sad. I tried my best to feed him milk and treat his ear mites like the veterinarian asked me for but he still died. I felt bad. Is it my fault for not knowing how to treat him well? I'm so mad at myself i can't stop crying.
