To put it simply, no I wont, most polearm 5 stars dont have relevant constellations. Arle is the only one relevant enough at a baseline that also has a relevant C6 (though still highly unnecessary, as Ive said on stream), plus it helps that I like the character a lot (outside of just mechanically) and I ended up with C4 so going for the slight chance of C6 was worthwhile for the content opportunity too. Heres a breakdown of 5 star polearm units constellation relevance: Zhongli: lol no, him becoming a healer at c6 is irrelevant, c1/c2 do next to nothing, c4 could technically be useful but absolutely not worth going for Hu Tao: her constellations are pretty bad past c1. Her C6 looks interesting until you realize the uptime is so bad that it functionally does nothing Raiden: we already got her c3 when going for Chev C6, and thats her most relevant constellations already. Her C6 is kinda interesting in that it reduces burst CDs, which may actually be kinda fun to mess with, but going for it would require a relevant polearm 4 star being on her banner again (like what happened with Chev). It doesnt have obvious direct value like Arle C6 could Shenhe: potentially useful C1/C2, but not really that meaningful. But if I get it in going for 4 star polearms (Thoma/Rosa), it wouldnt be bad. Reducing her ER could make putting more dps stats on her more relevant even. C6 Shenhe is irrelevant since I have no unit dealing Cryo dmg with NAs. Xiao: nah. People overrate his C6 in general. Its cool for changing his playstyle, but will not magically make him usable on polearms only. He is still too reliant on good supportive units that will likely never exist for the account. Cyno: C4 is irrelevant (thank you Hoyo for making Cyno C4 refund other units ER when Cyno has very annoying ER needs in many contexts, which either makes his builds very annoying or limits team comps). And his C6 just increases his damage for his normal playstyle. It does nothing to fix any of his problems, especially on a polearm only account. And as far as electro carries go on polearms only, Im pretty sure his C6 would still be worse dmg wise than C3 Raiden. It would make him better than he is, but not to a degree that would make me go "wow, now I can play Cyno in this team" So overall, no polearm 5 star C6 is worth going for other than Arle C6, and her C6 is only "worth" going for because of the fact that I happened to get C4 initially (but I really shouldve stopped at C3). Going for anything higher on other units just kinda doesnt make sense, and will only accidentally happen if there are new relevant polearm 4 stars, which is unlikely. I do have an idea of something I could spend surplus primos on in the future if need be, but I doubt it will be something that actually happens.

@@SolunerraThx for the detailed response and if their was any 5 star I think you should c6 next, raiden i don’t often see c6 because everyone stops at c3. It could also bring you a new flow of viewers that want to see how her c6 would make some cool teams on pole arms only.

Below is a bit of a rambly wall of text, mostly just continuation of thoughts mentioned on stream: (and just in case its not clear, Im not arguing against your definition of low spender since its ultimately dependent on the individual, just adding this train of thought your comment led me down) Even Welkin + BP puts it over AAA game price per year. Personally, I dont think we should compare a live service game getting constant (consistent) updates to a typical AAA game that is mostly a one and done for $60-70 USD, with potentially $30 of DLC down the line or whatever. That monetization model is just so fundamentally different that it doesnt even support the existence of games like Genshin. They are just different products made to make money in very different ways. It IS good logic for individuals to rationalize reasons to not spend much money on the genshin based on other game's costs to be clear; I just think there is more complexity in the business model of how games make money to simplify comparisons of game cost down to "it is a game, therefore ~$70 is the right price limit." It especially gets murky when I think about the pricing structure of one time costs for games as a side effect of the behavior of some gamers to do something like buy $70ish games every couple months. If a gamer buys 6 of those AAA games a year, that is functionally $30+/month spent on games. So compare someone who buys 6 AAA games per year to someone who functionally spends $30/month on genshin because genshin IS one of the only games they play (this would be welkin + BP + full top-up shop buyout every year), the amount of money spent is the same $30/month. Two gamers with different preferences in how they play games that results in them functionally spending the same amount of money for their hobby. Which is to say its all wishy-washy, and it all just depends on HOW we draw the line for what is acceptable or not. In the case of my current conundrum, my issue is trying to figure out something more specific for what acceptably counts in the range of "low spender" in regards to gacha games or maybe live service games in a generalized community sense, for the purpose of deciding what the appropriate label for polearms only is, and to help me decide IF I should take action (throwing wishes away) to bring the account back to being functionally equivalent to what many people would consider "low spender." For me personally, the money Ive spent is so connected to it just being a business cost to make content that it doesnt even matter, but I want the account to be somewhat representative of the experience that could be simulated by other players. Im probably far overthinking this though, as its mostly an issue in my own head and I bet 95%+ of my viewers dont care lol

@@Solunerra I think it's a very complicated subject on the whole, but I generally do not think of genshin as an ordinary live service game either. It's a gacha, so it's monetization model is likely in large part based around whales and whaling for characters. This is most obvious in the way they structure constellations and stuff like that. So I don't generally compare it to a "subscription" service kind of spending you get with Welkin either. (I also don't think buying battlepass every patch has much point and should be considered the norm, since it doesn't really give you that good value on wishes, just materials you can get by grinding anyway, but that's a separate kind of thing.) Even in regard to players buying multiple games a year, that is true, BUT those multiple games would then likely offer a much wider variety of experiences than genshin, no matter how many updates it has. Ultimately, its core gameplay remains unchanged, so I don't think it can be equated. It's complicated, yeah. In regard to this account specifically, I just want to say that I wouldn't "hold it against you" either way, since I've seen the crazy stuff you've pulled like no Dendro against Dendro cube, so I know you're not coasting by on the constellations or anything like that. In particular, since Arlecchino is the third strong pyro dps polearm, it's not like she would be completely irreplaceable and gamechanging. My hope is just that you come to a conclusion you find satisfying. I will continue to follow this account regardless. That said, "Paying off the blood debt" video of burning primos would be hilarious.

You acquire Glad by farming bosses when leveling characters. Polearms Only levels less characters because we only level polearm units. I have some good glad pieces, but no atk% timepiece and no flower.
