Sudeoksa Temple is the headquarters of the 7th parish of the Jogye Order of Korean Buddhism, located at the foot of Deoksungsan Mountain in Yesan County, South Chungcheong Province.
Established during the Baekje period, it manages 36 malsa, and is an important temple in the Buddhist community as Deoksungchongrim among the seven major forests in Korea.
It has been well known as a temple where Yeoseungdang is located for a long time, and even today, there are subsidiary hermitages of Sudeoksa Temple, Gyeonseongam Hermitage, and Hwanhee University, which are the measurements of the nuns.
