The only place where you can put a 9 in row 7 is column 6. With that, the only place where a 2 can go in box 5 is column 6. That eliminates the 2 from row 4, column 5, giving you a hidden 1-8 pair and a 4 in row 5 column 4. As a rule of thumb, if you find yourself penciling more than three values in some squares, you’ve probably missed something while scanning.
Excellent advice! Sure enough, there's a hidden quintuple (24678) in row 7 and I overthought on this one. I don't always see those quads or quintuples easily but recently I haven't had to fill in more than four candidates for one cell.
