Chaos Construction + Fog are my two favorite constrains. So happy to see them in the same puzzle :) Thanks Matt for the puzzle and Rangsk for selecting Chaos Construction as this months featured constraint.
@@Izual_Rebirth Thanks :). A recent puzzle of mine "what about that shadowy place?" was solved in the adventure series and combined CC with fog. Seeing how well that one and the puzzle here were received, I'll probably make more of them.

Wonderful puzzle, but I stumbled a fair amount on it, still managing to finish in 9:45; I used center lines to show the cages and kept the border lines for regions (though still used colors!). Many thanks to Matt for this lovely puzzle and to Rangsk for presenting it!
Great video Rangsk, and thanks for the feature! It's funny, in my own setting/solve, I used case checking for the 5 in the bottom corner, but the 21-10-6=5 is much cleaner! I also thought the spot about the 16 cage needing to be a 4-cell cage since 5 would be the missing digit in a 5 cell cage was a really neat point to show! Regarding borders, I found that there was really no downside to placing borders around completed regions in addition to cages since cages would never cross a border anyway, but I can definitely see how scanning in a cage-border vs region-border puzzle makes it tricky. At min 5:25, another way to view that the 2 cages are in diff regions: There are already 5 digits. One more is needed. All 6 digits sum to 21, so 21-10-8 = 3. Can't put a 3 in the region because there is a 3 in the 10 cage.
