It's impressive indeed. Still, I'm far more impressed to see a champion solve a really hard puzzle (which takes me 20-30 minutes) in 3 minutes, than to see someone solving an easy puzzle with nothing but straightforward Sudoku calculations (that I solved in 6.5 minutes) in 1:35. This is pure rote speed. Thinking three steps ahead in your head at incredible speeds is something entirely different.
Im a leo and was thinking the same thing. My record id shy of 10 min on expert. I was tryimg to get that down to 5 min or 7 min would be cool. This is silly to me. Im just gonna create a video on expert and solve a hard one by memorizing how i did it and making it look like I did it in 3. Lol
You should try kukuro (sp?) It is a sudoku crossword puzzle. It actually makes solving sudoku easier if you imagine every row and every column add up to 45
I do it when I’m solving Sudoku as well but for me I do it when I’m seeing what numbers can’t go in the boxes. It’s kinda hard to explain in words but I’ll look at one number and follow it across or down to see where it can’t go and my left hand will do exactly the same as the persons does in this video I don’t even realise that I’m doing it, it just happens 😂 I’m guessing this person is the same
I think he use the max number for every box = 45 then he subtract it with number that is in the box for example 45 - 4 - 9 - 2 = 30 so he just add number until he get the exact amount of it without ruining the row, coloumb and box
how veRY IntEreSTiNg to read all of the comments of strangers' best completion times all over the place. Truly, so truly enlightening and inspirational.
Hahahah exactly! I thought he wrote a 1 in the beggining and was like "whoops buddy you did a mistake there" XD Funny how I got this without context because I actually thought of it :D
In basic form it's 9x9 grid with nine 3x3 areas inside it. There can be only one of each number from 1 to 9 in each 3x3 grid and each horizontal and vertical line. Rest is logical deduction.
On messenger you can click on the numbers and it will highlight all of that number, and with that I got 1:36. My fastest sudoku on paper is 2:58 though
Today I did Web Sudoku Easy in 10 min and 38 seconds. I've been playing Sudoku since 2020 and that's the best. Best to pursue for the neurological benefits and not dream of any competition I guess😅
because he was focused on other stuff, if theres 2 easy answers he can't answer both at the same time he needs to write one first. That doesn't mean tge 2nd one was forgotten it was just 2nd in his mind
I don't know about him, but most Soduku is practice. I couldn't do them at all, but now can't even find Killers hard enough. Although my mother got to a point of difficulty and can't get any further and my father, who is astoundingly clever, can't do them at all. The psychology behind it is nearly as fascinating - mother wants to do the puzzle, I want to know how the puzzles work and the really brainy one will just go and build an engine instead! I can't be arsed with standard ones any more whereas Mum - a clever lady, don't get me wrong - hasn't logicked herself out of the fun. And it doesn't matter how flash I look doing the abominable killers only found in the Times books, she still murders me at the crossword! So, long answer to an intriguing comment; I'm not sure IQ matters. It's more about how you perceive them.
his 1s look like his 7s, probably easier to do that line in the 7s to make it clear that it is a seven rather than the line at the bottom (easier to picture the whole grid)
EXCELENTE QUE PRECISIÓN NO SEAN ENVIDIOSOS ESO ES REAL YA QUE TODOS LOS MOVIMIENTOS NO SON COPIADOS SON ORIGINALES, ELLOS NO LO SABÍAN LO RESOLVÍA POR LÓGICA
You should fill the squares in numbers of 1-9. You can't place a number if it's appear in the little square, horizontal line of the large square and vertical line of the large square. two same numbers can't stand on one line or one little square! I started how to play it before two days ago and I already can beat medium level 😄
Left column* middle box has a nine in the top right, a seven in the bottom right, and a one in the bottom left. The “second seven” in the fourth horizontal line is a nine.
Go to Andrew Stuart's Sudowiki Sudoku Solver web site. You can get a reading of the actual difficulty of a puzzle. Most 'hard' puzzles can be solved by an amoeba. Don't be impressed by your five minute or ten minute solve. The fact that the source says it is hard is irrelevant. They are either lying or trying to inflate your ego. Hard puzzles? Check out Cracking the Cryptic on RU-vid if you really want to see hard. Having said all that, this guy was very impressive.
But now I’m looking at it again and right before he figures out the 6’s he puts a 7 on the bottom right hand side and there no legitimacy there. It could of well been placed at .97
4 was put because of an easy reason... In the bottom 3 9x9 boxes, the 2nd and 3rd 9x9 boxes have their 4s and 6s already filled. As such, 4 and 6 for the 1st 9x9 box can only be put into 2 empty boxes, the one where he put them. But notice that in the 1st column, 3 9x9 boxes, the 6s for the 1st and 2nd 9x9 boxes were also already filled. As such, for the 3rd 9x9 box, it can only be into 3 empty boxes, specifically the right sides of 3, 2, and 8. But we've concluded that the 4 and 6 for that particular 9x9 box should only be put in the very bottom part, so 6 can only be put at the right side of 8 and 4 at the left side of 8. Although he first put 4 instead of 6, he first solved it through solving 6. Notice that he immediately put 6 after putting 4, then thinking a bit before putting 7. For 7, he put that because notice that in that particular 9x9 box, the only missing numbers are 5, 7, and 8. But at the very last row of the puzzle (9th row), 5 and 8 are already filled so he can only put 7 in there. It's too tiring to type words so I won't tell anymore. Just figure them out.
This solve was by jakub he has won many medals at the WSC and you think because you solved it in 13 minutes that one of the best solvers in the world cant do it under 2?
this is a very easy one, but this doesn't make him not a world champion. i think it just shows how quickly he can do it. this is real, i tried solving it and pretty much went through the same order. and those people who are so happy that he made a "mistake" by writing 7 instead of 9, IT IS 9, he just wrote it badly, you can tell he writes 7 with a line in the middle, nice try looking smart though
I really don't know if people are being sarcastic or they are really impressed. It is quite an easy Sudoku. It is when it gets to the point where there are no more logical combinations and you need to think several moves ahead that it gets hard
@@haidarrabie90598 can’t go anywhere else in that line. There’s an 8 in the top left quadrant, so can’t place an 8 there. There’s an 8 on the bottom line of the middle right quadrant which means no 8 cant go on the space in the middle left quadrant
