Sue's comments about how teams focus their attention and energy on winning and how that requires working together despite individual differences is one of the main reasons I hope she runs for Congress one day when her basketball career is over. We need more smart, empathetic women in Washington and i can't think of a better candidate than Sue Bird.

You do know that the NBA took awhile to get profitable? Like every sports league no matter the sport it takes time to grow the league. The NBA is literally 3x the age of the WNBA plus they didn't have haters discouraging people to watch by saying "men can't hoop". Real fans of any sport consume all spectrums of the product so if you're a fake basketball fan just say that 🙄
