Can't believe they are back after all this time and made (on my opinion) one of their best albums since dog man star or coming up. One of the most under rated bands of ever. Long live Suede. Greetings from Italy
You touch the place where we meet Where you and I become she and he I'm not as strong as I pretend to be You feel the scratches and scars You feel the parts of me we call ours But drop me once And I will fall to bits Come on and hit me With your majesty Come on and hit me With all your mystery [x2] La la la la la... And the moment we touch we are young You feel my pulse and we become one But drop me once And I will fall to bits Come on and hit me With your majesty Come on and hit me With all your mystery [x2] La la la la la... Come on and hit me With your majesty Come on and hit me With all your mystery [x2] La la la la la...
As I understand it, Bloodsports was supposed to be a concept album designed around variations of the one song - like Grace Jones' Slave To The Rhythm. The song in question was Bloodsport For All (originally recorded by Carter The Unstoppable Sex Machine). I got quite a surprise when I heard the finished product.
always feel sooooo free and happy when i watch those colors going straight to those walls in slow motion.... uffff i m 39+ but still i feel like a forever teenager when i listen to the Suede!
kick ass song deserves a lot of likes i know a good song when i hear one and this one is excellent, infact it is disgraceful that top quality songs like this do not garner more attention what do you have to do? SUPERB guitar work really awesome, and that twist on the lyric hit me , one is initially thinking how stupid! then one hears the rest of the lyric and its super smart!! chorus to die for
It's such a pity! This excellent song deserved a better video. As an artist myself, I find it very hard seeing the beauty in vandalism and destruction. Only a sick mind will find pleasure in desecrating and disrespecting the work of others. I wonder how Suede would feel if we came up with a whole videoclip where people are destroying all Suede LPs and CDs
I realy don't see this video as a praise for vandalism. For me the main message here is a laugh about the arrogance and self-importance of the class which is usuelly accosiated with understanding art...they present a young couple who is obveiously don't belong to the "Elite" in a very stereotypical and ridiculous way and pretend that the exhibit "asks questions" about who can understand the value of art. and it's only one message, there is so much more. This video is genios.
