@@chrysgalarza190 Suffocation didn't really do shit for beatdown hardcore LMAO; the first slam riff ever in metal was played by a crossover thrash band called Uncle Slam. On their 1988 debut album Say Uncle and the first track Weirdo Man. Bulldoze has way more credit for beatdown hardcore than Suffocation too
@@ARG0T Just checked out Weirdo Man and wow, it really does sound like the basic layout of a modern tough guy hardcore song, only just a little thrashier sounding. Good stuff.
such an underrated pack of talents. mike, frank, terrance… they put so much effort and technique in what theyre doing it brings me tears of joy you can feel their passion, other brutal bands play like their doin some duets
Love this band, absolutely a die hard fan, can’t believe I’m finally gonna see them this year after missing my chance last year. It’s Hobbscation now but I don’t care it’ll be great!!! Edit: IT WAS FUCKING AMAZING! Plus I saw them on the DEATH TO ALL TOUR! Legendary performance I will never forget.
I’ve wanted to see them live for a long time myself but unfortunately we just don’t get death metal shows where I live, I would’ve much rather seen the original lineup but I’m like you I’d definitely still buy a ticket if they came close by somewhere…
I’ve watched a lot of interviews… suffocation has their own sound engineer who is really good. Interviews of the past show an effort to play songs perfectly as they are on record… anything adlibbed or uptempoed is intentional. They are still my favorite band and I’ve seen them atleast 5 times live most likely much more than that
Seen them live same lineup. Probably my favorite Suffo song (and album) as well as Pierced From Within which they opened with when I saw them! Got to hang with them after too.
