Why would his parents need to apologize for giving him such a great name? I think it suits him well. Glad he didn't change it. Crazy how the reporter seems to think the name "Jan" is the same as the "jan" in "SufJAN!?! I'd not heard the name "Sufjan" before either, but I kinda guessed it wasn't Germanic ... ha!
