To a lot of international fans BTS is a national treasure group and brings so much good images for South Korea and Hybe label is bringing so much fame and recognition globally for K-pop. I just don’t understand why in Korea people don’t appreciate their efforts and hard work instead it feel like the whole country is trying to bring them down and now the government is using them to promote themselves. Look at all the shuttered businesses just because BTS is in the military. Look at the billions brought into SK each year as a whole because of BTS and how the economy will be affected once they no longer perform. Compare to other entertainment companies, HYBE is on the LESS-"shady" sides and more obidient to law,, but somehow kmedia, Kgovernment, and many more so eager to see HYBE downfall. WHY?? HYBE is a young and the fastest growing company, yet they already up againts Kakao and SM Ent Which are the most influential Kpop and also the "shadier" K companies. I am sure their influences have spread wide and thru in the government, media and more. And a lot of people are afraid to side with HYBE. For those who are brave enough to speak up, I pray for them and their family safety.

Your coworker being rude to you in the hallway is not grounds to sue. If it were, the courts would never close. Why not reach out to the sexual harassment victim? Tolerance can explain away things like balance, speech and not vomiting or passing out. But it's difficult to believe the BAC because reaction time does not improve with tolerance. He not only got up quickly but was able to put his arms out to brace himself to protect himself as he fell. That is really quick reflexes and it's baffling how he could have done that if the BAC is as high as they say it is. But yeah, he has suffered enough. I will support him whatever he choses to do or not do.

ARMY's in general trust Big Hit to follow up with the legal action. The toxic fans, solo stans, and anti's will always put out negative energy. ARMYs will continue to move forward and trust BTS. I am disappointed that Hani has been chosen to serve as a representative of workplace harassment. Her allegation was NOT proven. I am not sure that she is a legit choice. It is ridiculous. Now her complaint has been elevated for political influence. Politicians often use famous people for their own benefit. MHJ is standing on NJ's necks to raise herself and they do not realize it. MHJ should show some integrity and bring on the potential SA victim that MHJ minimized. Suga said he accepted responsibility and that he would pay any fine. BAC of that level I am shocked he was standing. I still have doubts. But, I am pleased it is over.
His back was never released so idk what you're talking about in that regard. They never tested him, as mentioned before, he got tested on spot, the level was high enough by Korean standard to revoke license, that is above 0.08 but not high enough for them to take him to a lab and actually get his bac professionally tested, he went back home that night after this ordeal, so no they never got to test his bac.
I am one of those who does not believe Suga's BAC is as high as the charge claims. My pure speculation is that they did not do a BAC at the site and Suga chose not to go to the police station for a BAC at the time to avoid the publicity. In return he agreed to the maximum BAC and penalty. That is why the police could not confirm the BAC, they did not have one. The only thing they have is Suga's admission of guilt.
Well, I usually do not believe in these kinds of theories, but somehow I feel this could have happened. He might have been offered a deal and he accepted it to avoid dragging this case for too long, because that would have been much worse. Anyway, I guess we will never know… Let’s put this behind us! It is also possible they used a test with low accuracy on site that gave bad results. In that case, the police knew Suga could have easily challenged it.

Hanni now annoys me every time I see her. I use to find her cute, but not anymore. She knew what she was doing when she told her little sob story, which is a shame as she didn't consider the repercussions the speculated artists would face. It had malicious intent, and she only proved herself as a pawn. I wouldn't be surprised if it was due to her mishearing or misinterpreting the situation, like what happened between her and Seventeen. Even the boys repeating a question THREE times, Hanni still misheard them and took it as an attack, and their manager had to clear the misunderstanding up. Seventeen themselves mentioned it on Weverse, if they hadn't, it might’ve been this story replacing the current one about mistreatment. But in regards to Hanni's sob story, other than her mishearing, what if she had not greeted the other party correctly? It seemed the first greeting was acknowledged, they went in and came out. Maybe she was about to be confronted about something but only heard the manager say 'ignore her', sounds like they could've been difusing the situation? I guess we'll never know...

I haven't read through the comments to see if anyone else is thinking this, but here is my thinking about the Scootergate fine. No one has ever released the actual BAC. The number reported was put out by someone in the media and other sources ran with it. The Government knows Suga is not going to take it to trial, so they set the fine higher than required by the BAC guidelines to suggest that his BAC was higher than it actually was (based on the evidence of the CCTV footage). The government keeps the K-media happy by not refuting their lies so the K-media won't go after the government scandals, and they get more money from the celebrity than is deserved. They won't get bribes or extra money lining their pockets any other way over this created scandal so they just inflated the fine. That is the only explanation that makes sense to me...

Some reporters speculate that the source may have been someone in connection with law enforcement. When the police made their first official update they also did not confirm BAC considering hard to pinpoint as the investigation was ongoing. The number just snowballed from one article to the next. When the KBS misinformation was revealed articles continue to quote the number but amended the language to a more vague statement. You are correct though that it was used to draw parallels to other idols cases and help keep the gossip mill and “outrage” hot.
