CONTEXT FOR THE YOUNGER GENERATION: The song here is a 'double entendre' of sorts(serious joke) on the 'friends' of the UNC party when Basdeo Panday was Prime Minister (1995-2001) of T&T; Ishwar Galbaransingh was the friend of the UNC party who apparently contributed a lot of money to their campaign. During the Panday administration it was 'payback time' so Ish was given many lucrative contracts and many other questionable transactions went towards the UNC financier. This was frowned upon by the general public and the calypsonians had a field day commenting in their songs during the various competitions and this one made it to the Dimache Grand competition in the Savannah. In Trinidad we laugh at everything so this time the joke was on the UNC even though it was a serious issue.
