In this recently resurfaced 1976 Sugar Puffs ad that hasn't been seen on the internet unlike the first 2 for decades, Henry McGee narrates about how Honey Monster invites his friend Uggi (also known as Uggy, his first appearance) to also have a bowl of Sugar Puffs, just by forgetting about also reminding Henry to tell the viewers about... well, you know the rest!
Uggi/Uggy, while not as iconic compared to Honey Monster continues to appear in Sugar Puffs advertisements until his demise in 1988, leaving Honey Monster on his own by featuring different kinds of co-stars (and sometimes children) aside from him.
The Honey Monster mascot were created by John Webster and was played by a puppeteer Peter Pullon by the BMP advertising agency.
