2024 and listening to Jennifer Nettles sing never gets old. Like so many great country artists that never got the recognition she well deserved. Beautiful voice, pure and beautiful woman
Being 67 years young I’ve heard a lot of singers over the years and Jennifer Nettles has unequivocally the clearest vocals of any female singer I can think of, truly magnificent.
This was SUCH a tribute. They did not just copy the released version, they worked out their own arrangement, put their own hearts into it, and rehearsed it to perfection. Truly a dedicated effort to honor Brooks and Dunn. Respect!

I feel bad for the people that don’t like Country Music or have never listened to it. This song is a prime example of how great Country Music is and how moving it can be.
Absolutely--when Jennifer sings in the studio it's incredible, but live her power is sheer magic. She puts her entire soul into it. Never fails to blow me away too!

When they did this tribute to Brooks and Dunn in front of Brooks and Dunn, they probably knew Jen was gonna do a good job,but I better they never thought WOW!! They did this almost as good as we did it!! They can't take the number one voice of Ronnie's, but they sure could take the next best place!!! Amazing voices... Ronnie & Jennifer!!! Beautiful!! And one of the best songs ever!!!
Give it time Reba and Dolly have been around longer …. From what I’ve seen everyone loves to work with her so Icon status will come with with just a bit more time … just think where they were 20 and 30 years ago

I love the face she makes at around 2:00 when she says heaven. The way she wrinkles her noise... The energy in how she sang that word.. damn.. hell.. the whole performance is amazing... for the both of them. Tight harmonies.. just.. amazing.

I absolutely love how Sugarland took this great song and made it their own! It would be so much fun to sing with them! I would absolutely be on cloud 9 if that ever happened! A girl can dream! Absolutely love it!

No matter how many times I hear this song it brings tears to my eyes because when you've lived it you've lived it just like they have. And you can tell when they sing it it's from the heart. We all can when it's your first love and you're from the farm country. And don't you think that GOD had something to do with it. Amen just a Kentucky born Florida raised country boy speaking what he feels. A song like this doesn't come along everyday.

Jennifers voice is like a Texas prairie....no horizon or limits in sight. and as deeply powerful as the wind...Kristian..the perfect match. I loved this song. Loved the ingenuity is its performance...and that harmonica piece..mamma mis it does not get better than this for me, ever!
Happiness on earth ain't just for high achievers - it's for anyone who ever enjoyed a Sugarland concert. The world has been a less-happy place for the last 18 months. Glad we still have these performances to remind us!

Country music singers when they sing in concert always sound just like a recording or on the radio. I love country music to the core. But I really miss the old country music from the '90s to the early 2000s. Now it's all too Poppy. This is real country music

Jennifer Nettles and Chris are just incredible. What a voice and personality she has. I didn't discover Country until I was 50.......11 years ago, and it was like a Renaissance...a rebirth for music and me, and Sugarland, Alison Krause, B&D, Dwight....and so many more gave a jolt of renewed love for music after spending so many years in the dark. Music like this gets to your very soul. Thanks.
I love this! Jennifer Nettles has such an amazing voice...sometimes she over powers Kristian (as a lead singer generally does)...but i cant help it I LOVE it when he sings, they sound perfect together!
What a beautiful rendition of a classic Brooks and Dunn, Sugarland are the best, Jennifer Nettles is a beautiful singer and she can play the piano so well, she can sing anything and Kristian Bush is an excellent musician, he can play the guitar and the harmonica so great and very good singer too, Brooks and Dunn thoroughly enjoyed it.
Now THIS is how you sing this song! What a simply fantastic duo!Wow! There are so many parts of this performance where perfection is the only definition I can think of. This song performance should be in the CM Hall of Fame!
