Yup. Was attacked at 16 for my money by an older sibling. A few other things happened but I never got over that attack. I still don’t trust her and anyone who comes off violent or aggressive.
@@becky5937 I was attacked n beaten by family members as well. Even when the bruises healed my heart still ached knowing it was someone I loved dearly who hurt me. That was more than 30 years ago..it still hurts when I think about it.
It's almost always the people you know and are close to you who will do you inthey're often jealous of your prosperity or something and they want what you got and they will set you up this is the problem with black people they don't stick together they're too busy like craps in the bottom of the barrel!
Facts if that was my mom I would’ve crashed out and killed one of them. I got jumped in high school and my heart still burns in a rage when I think about it! But I’ve hurt people too so it’s karma I guess. Now I know why some people will go to another level trying to protect themselves. It gets to a point where you will kill someone trying to hurt you.
I was told simply “Good people shouldn’t be around Bad people.” She seems like a good person to me. Sometimes as good people we don’t want to be judgmental, but don’t ever drop the ball on DISCERNMENT - call a duck a duck, spade a spade, a snake and snake, and get the h *ll out of dodge. Bad people can hurt good people, they can, have, and will kill good people in fowl ways. And none of the sh *t was worth the RISK.
@@BeautifulOnes876 I don't know anything about her. But if she was already a music industry photographer, it would make sense that she'd want steady work with a label as hot as Death Row was then. She seems streetwise, so she probably thought she could handle that environment.
@@basbleupeaunoire I agree, that’s what I was saying, she probably thought she could handle it and took the shot at what seemed like a big opportunity. But as I said, some risk aren’t worth it…history is way too full of good, talented, and outright anointed people who lay slain sadly because they were messing with the wrong crowd, although they had good intent. “The road to hell is paved with good intentions.” 😣😢😟
Sounds as if Suge was nothing more than a huge ball of evil, drama, and violence. Sheesh! My heart goes out to this woman, sounds as if she is coping with her trauma as best as she can.
Shit you should hear Jewell's fucken interview. He had her do evil shit to prove her loyalty to him, she even said she started doing shit that she never done nor thought of doing. Beating guys with bats and shit.. he knew how to fuck with people's heads mentally
@@lynnjackson8367 regardless…. Suge set her ass up. Why was it this lady place to say if someone was selling weed or not. Anything going on in his operation I’m sure he knows about and is aware….. these death row employee folks just hood and messy. Fighting/violence and mess is all they thrive on… and why should she be a secretary and ain’t been one all this time ?! 🤣
@@Melanie-le6mw ah ok...see i didn't know the whole story. I was wondering why all of a sudden she was attacked. Ok, do u know why he did that? I wish I could find a video that told the entire story. I feel like there is so much missing.
@@Melanie-le6mw thank u for filling in some of the details. I missed allot apparently. Ya, death row records was straight shady. Sucks because the talent was real.
@@lynnjackson8367 if that wasn't her job or what she was hired for, I don't blame her it's like you're hired for the job she was or even the receptionist and he wanted you to clean the bathroom or maintenance would you do it?. Hell no cuz that's not what you was hired for and what you went to school for, sooo I would be salty as well.
@@mikejones-mo8xh Glad you said that!! People always focus on Suge and accused him of starting the East/West beef, but Puffy was sneaky as hell!! Whereas Suge was hands on, Puffy the punk got people to do things for him. And he still can't wash Biggie's blood from his hamds!! RIP Biggie
@@Nadiyah2002 moron, whose d1ck should I eat, yours? You could've simply rebutted what I stated instead of exposing your uncivilised character. I bet you're a product of a single-mom upbringing.
She mentioned she had seen others get beat up prior to herself being attacked. She should have left when she witnessed that. It would have only been a matter of time before they came for her. Fortunately, she is here today.
This is actual & factual! I remember the day it happened to her, we were friends, her husband “ Tony Green” & my X-husband were friends at the time ( my husband is in the music business) Not to long after this happened to Simone she came to my house & she was wearing big black shades, I remember so clearly because it was a gloomy day, at first I thought it was because she was sad about Melvin & had been crying, when in fact it was because she was covering up black eyes that she had gotten from being held down by Suge while she was being beating on by some girls that Suge had put on her ~ Simone was such a nice warm person ! Everything she said in this interview is the truth!!!
@@lapislazulii141 I doubt she was held down. Yeah, she was out of pocket talking to shuge like that... not my problem! He never touched her it was a female employee who hit her.
Idk, maybe it’s just me, but A LOT of women look A LOT BETTER between 35-44 when they have better money and fitness/ better cameras and make up For example, women who filled in just right after 18-24yo look MUCH better than when they were trying to be mid 90s barbies
She is so beautiful and seems like a really nice and down to earth person. Sad that this happened to her. Glad she was able to get away and hope she's ok from it all.
@@bluehaze6729 He thought that he had more power than he actually did. A fool and his money shall soon be parted. I think that is how that saying goes.
So glad she told her story so she can heal, instead of being silent. If she would have stayed silent/bitter, and suppressed that severe pain and trauma, she probably wouldn't not be living to tell her story. She would have died years ago like her co workers who never told their story, and suffered in silence. I'm glad she's healing and taking care of herself. When she said that when she look in the mirror she still see him,I felt that in my soul, and I believe everything she said.
@@boruto4162 she has a reason but I'm not saying she is lying. I'm not saying she's telling the whole truth either. I guess it's one of those things if you weren't there to see it you'll never truly know what happened.
@@kingrichmond4285 Do you know him yourself sir? We can only go by the accounts of all of the other people that speak on him. Some speak on his good parts and MOST speak on his bullshit.
They way she described in detail of the room and layout of the building and what she was wearing this definitely happened. Put it like this when something tragic happens you remember everything leading up to that moment
You can tell this damaged her for life. I pray she heals from the trauma. She was an elder and should of been given that respect and just fired if Suge felt she was out of line.
@@alillups9111 SIMPLE MATH‼️‼️….. if Suge is 50+ and she is older by AT LEAST 15-20 yrs… She was 40+ when this happened they were 20 something. when MY MOM was 35 and I was 20… dont be an ignoramus 🙄😒 anyone old enough to be your mother is an elder
This is why MC Hammer's wife told him to get away from these people. "Come out from among them." (2 Corinthians 6:17) I'm sorry this beautiful woman had to go through something so awful. Many prayers.🧡🙏
Suge's cousin Lashell said that this lady was lying about Suge beating her but I believe her. I've believed her every since I saw her say it on the Deathrow doc years ago. She has no reason to lie.
I believe it to. Her story is the same and it’s consistent. She has nothing to gain. I believe every word she says. Anyone protecting and siding with suge is just as ignorant as he is.
She had ample time to leave when she witnessed other people catch a beating but left only when she got attacked. I'm not saying she deserved it but she had all the signs in front of her the whole time. Had she been smart she would've left immediately.
Something key she mentions is David Kenner (Death Row Attorney) watching the fight and being in Suge's ear. This is the same attorney who was fired by Tupac the week of his demise along side head of security Reggie Wright Jr. Do people understand now why these men are capable of setting up Tupac? Its chess not checkers.
@@krashidshak We are discussing Ms. Simone Green's testimony in the video about her getting beat up at Death Row offices, NOT the Tupac shooting 🤦🏽♂️ In other words, if the attorney David Kenner had her beat up and he watched it. What makes people think he wouldnt mastermind the Tupac shooting, send Suge to jail, and take all the Death Row assets?
Yet, Tupac set Suge, Kenner and the Writghts up by faking his death using body doubles and the BLA. Tupac played chess and got away from these monsters while using his mother and Interscope to retrieve his music and money, and send Suge to jail. Tupac is the REAL Mastermind who faked his death to fool his enemies.
Simone greene Said, I was going to let it lie, but what you are NOT going to do is lie on my name she came with Dates, Names, Places, Times, What people had on...and I believe every word!
I’m so sorry this happened to her. It’s really sad. This woman was 40 years old getting beat up by youngins for something that wasn’t even her fault. Like this was literally the work environment. It’s crazy. I’m not surprised that the company tanked and everyone involved in the toxic bs, faltered in some kind of way. The talent at Deathrow was obviously a plus but all of the negative experiences make you wonder… was it all worth it in the end? Pac is gone. Suge is in jail. David Kenner MIA, most of the other artists are either broke or dead. The artists that got away are mostly still thriving.
Simone Green is a wonderful woman and incredibly talented. Truly she has contributed some of the most iconic images of a generation. It is disgraceful that she was treated this way
Although Suge was sentenced to 28 years, man definitively got life. So he has an incredible amount of time to think over his ill’s. Like the rest of the world, I got to see this man’s rise and repeated fall. At no point has he apologized to anyone or took responsibility for anything and I doubt he ever will. I hope this lady can find some peace. If in nothing else, that her tormentor will probably never walk the earth as a free man again! Brilliant! Cheers mates!!
God bless this woman for having the strength to speak out about her situation, most victims couldn't face the mirror or sunlight and spend most of the time suffering in the dark.
I remember meeting Suge Knight one evening at a sushi restaurant. It was a girl's night out - just me and my homegirl. He approached our table and was sooo charismatic. He gave us his # and asked us to call him after dinner so we could hang out later. In the moment it was sort of flattering. Although a very large man, he gave you gentle giant vibes lol. Thankfully, me and the homie are LA natives so we knew who he was. We heard all the stories. His reputation was already scandalous at this time. So we never did call. But it was an interesting encounter.
Now we know why this label had to find its demise. You never fuck with innocent bystanding people like that. She was just a photografer not a gansta. Even if you run a record label like a gang you dont do this. I am glad to hear that 2Pac realised that this was not positive and didnt liked that video.
You reap what you sow in life. When people do dirt and it seems like they are getting away with it always remember they are not. It may take a while but they get it back in SPADES!!
It sounds like this lady should be on I Lived to Tell. What happened to her was unforgettable. I also hope She can Forgive, but She will never Forget. Bless You.
This woman didn't deserve the disrespect and the beat down that was inflicted upon her. Death Row records have a history of treating women and men violently. She didn't deserve that treatment but I'm proud of this woman for stepping up and coming forward to tell her story and outing the horrific experiences that she went through. Stay strong and stay blessed, this woman is a survivor. ❤
I STILL remember her telling this story on the welcome to death row documentary. She went into more details here. Sad. The way that label was ran is unreal. I’m surprised that it lasted as long as it did and we still don’t even know everything that went down. It’s good to see her.
Death Row Records was a force to be reckoned with from 1992-1997, maybe a little bit of '98. Suge drove his multi million dollar empire into the ground, because he was more of a bully than a business man. Damn Shame!! RIP Tupac 🐐
@@rucianapollard4057 absolutely!! this era will never understand how huge death row was. Suge made the mistake of mixing the streets with the corporate world. those don't mix well and they don't end well at all. Suge blew it He really blew it. Dame shame like you said.
Jewel did mention u beloved. She said u lied in that same interview. Matter of fact Jewel initiated the conversation and then told Lashelle to explain it. I think u trying to spare Jewel because she's no longer here but she didn't seem like she was your friend the way she called u a liar...For the record I believe u and I'm sorry that happened 🙏🏾
Wow I feel so bad she endured such terrible abuse. She is a strong woman and keeps her head held high. I know what abuse feels like but we have to take our power back. She is doing that.🙏🏼💜
The lady you call your friend was definitely in agreement with the lady saying you lied. Actually she said it first and Lashell just finished the story. But Lashell contradicted herself.
@@samj458 I’m on about this video Simone said Jake nobles video taped the incident getting her ass whooped I think she meant to say Jake Robles who is big Jake she’s referring he was video taping.

It saddens me what we as African Americans do to each other sometimes. This story bothers me so much because as much as we have been done dirty by crooked Caucasian label owners, we turn around and do the same damn thing to each other! I’m glad that this sister is alive to tell her story.
Bruh tupac was the real life death row movie ain't get how anyone who says they fuck wit death row or pac don't know this wat was pac an suge always saying? That they doing a movie with pac and snoop called 3 strikes about them both trying to stay out of the pen that was a cover for why they had so much film staff doubles actors around it is all in plain sight open ur eyes

I believe her! I worked with a lady who was one of the makeup artist for Deathrow records, she said she was going to write a book about the things she witnessed! She said she used to be scared for her life!
I don’t care how big of a death row records fan I am… I believe every single word this lady said. Suge made a huge impact in the music industry, and for that I will forever have respect for him. But Suge did a LOT of unnecessary foolish stuff that caused him to be where he is today.🤦🏾♂️
