Cool pickups! I also have 2 Dimarzio Area 61s laying around, that I would like to combine with a Suhr Woodbucker. Do you know if the master volume's pot, here on your Suhr guitar, is 250k or 500k?
What size pots do you use in a hss setup? Dimarzio recommends 250k for those single coils but obviously you need a 500k for humbucker. I don't know what is best 😮
Not a weird question! I think you’re correct. They definitely have a more “squonky” Strat tone than the Suhr singles with the Silent Circuit. The Suhr singles may be rounder & smoother, but these sure seem to have more quack and grit. IMO
