Synopsis:
"Sui Dhaaga - Made in India" is a heartwarming story of pride and self reliance, which finds its roots in the heart of India and reflects the passion that runs through the veins of every single Indian. Taking the message of "Made in India" forward, the film modestly tries to bring back our traditional art forms and handicrafts in focus. The film is helmed by National award winning Producer - Director Duo of Maneesh Sharma and Sharat Katariya (Dum Laga ke Haisha) and features Varun Dhawan and Anushka Sharma in the lead roles.
Through the hero & his wife, film talks about the need of social entrepreneurship as a tool for social and economic development of our artisans, living their life in the margins due to the changing times. Set in a small town in India, the film encapsulates the journey of an honest man from a humble background, who pursues his passion, overcoming all odds and soon finds himself on the cover of an international magazine with the world taking note and appreciating his talent.

I think rather than blaming Varun , we should blame ourselves as well. We didn't appreciate him for october, Sui dhaga but criticised him for coolie no. 1 and kalank. He deserved criticism for coolie no. 1 and kalank but he also deserved appreciation for October and sui dhaga.

Who are these 7400 plus people giving dislike to such an amazing story. The main problem is most you can't imagine Varun playing such a character. If Rajkumar Rao played this character, then it would be pleasing for you people. No comments against Rajkumar Rao, he is an excellent versatile actor. I am sincere fan of Rao. In the outskirts of delhi there are multiple workers making clothes for high brands of US and selling them in delhi mall or even exporting them and plp blindly but them 100x of the amount just for label. This needs to be stopped . This film film beautifully depicts journey of success hardwork and promoting india , their labels and its workers.

I don't know why people are saying Akshay, Rajkumar rao etc should be there. They have done enough films of good content. If someonr new is trying to do the role, why u people are giving uo opinion for thr lead roles. Chance toh sabko milna chahiye to showcast thr talent. M not any fan of Varun, Rajkumar or akshay. Infact i like all actors who give thr best. We shud try to appreciate the talent instead of finding flaws. Talent is talent. Period.

Though, bollywood is all about 'happy endings'; but atleast they tried some 'truth' via this movie. The picture of 'real bharat' - "ab jindagi ki cycle par toh maarna padega pedal; chahe mile ya na mile medal".( As we are alive, we have to suffer hardships and overcome them).
